I hated the idea of the Cowboys picking a WR in the 1st round, but it is hard to argue with picking Lamb, who looks like a potential HOF receiver to me. I think CeeDee Lamb was a top 10 talent, and the Cowboys got him at #17.

Yes, I wanted defense in the first round.

But a guy that many thought was a Top 10 pick and possibly the best WR in the draft fell to us at 17.

You take that guy (or trade because of the value possibly available). You don't pass on him just to take defense.

Just a very strong pick at 17. Hard to criticize drafting the (arguably) best WR in a very deep WR class at this spot on the board.

Defense needs some attention, but man— taking Chaisson there over Lamb would be in the neighborhood of taking Greg Ellis over Moss lol.

MM wanted talented football players and we added one of the top talents in the entire class. Strong start to the 2020 draft, the Mike McCarthy era, and the next decade lf Cowboys football!!
