Poe, Crawford, Gregory, Smith.......

Awful projection.

And Diggs won't be starting.
Sturm said he should be their best corner already. Awuzie and him might be close. If he’s not better than Brown and Lewis, they dun goofed.

OLB: Leighton Vander Esch, Joe Thomas
MLB: Jaylon Smith, Luke Gifford
OLB: Sean Lee, Justin March

FS: Xavier Woods
SS: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Darian Thompson

I think Jaylon is being pegged as the SLB/PassRusher (I'd think Luke Gifford too), so maybe we finally put LVE and Sean Lee where they belong, at MLB and WLB respectively.

And the talk was that Haha was pegged for FS when we brought him in.

Rookies are still rookies, although the turn over in coaching staff will knock the veterans down a peg. Diggs will get some snaps and be given every chance as the season progresses to take a spot from the short timers, Lewis and Awuzie. I doubt they intend to bring either back, and they definitely want to groom Diggs into a starter for *next* year.

I'll take a swing. Feel free to use mine to take your own.

RDE:
Randy Gregory - (He's the guy we're gonna want to play.)
RDT: Gerald McCoy, Trysten Hill, Neville Gallimore
LDT: Poe, Antwaun Woods
LDE: Demarcus Lawrence
Other DEs: Dorance Armstrong, Tyrone Crawford, Aldon Smith, Joe Jackson, Jelks = w/o injury, at least 2 have to go, and it will be interesting who

SLB: Jaylon Smith, Luke Gifford
MLB: Leighton Vander Esch, Joe Thomas
WLB: Sean Lee, Justin March

SCB: Anthony Brown, Xavier Woods?, *Deante Burton - who?
OCB: Chidobe Awuzie, Jourdan Lewis, Trevon Diggs
FS: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Draft Pick?
SS: Xavier Woods, Donovan Wilson, *Darian Thompson
Sure would be nice if Wilson could beat out Woods for SS, then Woods backs up FS, maybe SCB. That lets us just keep 4 CBs, 3S, 1 S/SCB in Woods.
Very likely we take another FS, hoping to move him to starter next year.

55 man roster this year, so say the offense and defense both get another player.

Joe Jackson is not a left DE. He's a right DE, but he will have a hard time making the team if both Aldon Smith and Randy Gregory are reinstalled into the league. Don't forget about Jalen Jelks and how good he looked during preseason last year before he got injured. He could back up DeMarcus Lawrence at left DE.

My predicted 26 man defense at the moment but hopefully we can add one of two more that stick to the roster. There's also probably a couple that get injured/put on IR.

1T: Dontari Poe
3T: Gerald McCoy
RDE: Aldon Smith

Rotation
: Tyrone Crawford, Randy Gregory, Neville Gallimore, Tristin Hill, Dorance Armstrong, Joe Jackson

Linebackers (7)
MIKE
: Jaylon Smith
WILL: Leighton Vander Esch
SAM: Sean Lee

Rotation/Special Teams
: Joe Thomas, Justin March, Luke Gifford, Chris Covington

Corners (5)
RCB
: Chidobe Awuzie
LCB: Trevon Diggs
SCB: Jourdan Lewis
NB: Anthony Brown

Rotation/Special Teams:
Maurice Canady, CJ Goodwin

Safeties (4)
SS:
Xavier Woods
FS: Clinton Dix

Rotation/Special Teams:
Donovan Wilson, Darian Thompson

Awuzie will be better this year.

Watch.
How you figure he's never even flashed. lol. He's not bad but he's not good either. He shouldn't see another contract from this team after the rookie deal.

Right now, I would be expecting one more free agent being signed...but there is plenty of draft remaining.

If Joe Jackson makes this team we are in trouble. Would love and I mean LOVE to bring back Irving and I am not scared to say it. Hope McCarthy looks into it and it would be awesome to see him shine again while being the biggest screw you to Jason Garrett.

The main thing he needs is a pass rush.

I pay little attention to Sturm. He's been wrong about players a LOT.

Diggs is very raw. He was a receiver that they turned into a corner and told him not to worry about technique. Just play.

That's fine in college, but not the NFL.

I love the pick, but he's got a lot of developing to do. He will in time.

I would think Poe would start at the 1 and McCoy and Gallimore will roatate at the 3.

I think you will also see Gallimore, Poe, McCoy and Lawrence on the field at the same time on some down.
