Does it not depend on scheme and coverage called?

It seems to me we have 2 choices..

we take a guy like this and pair him with Dix..

or we keep playing skip-to-my-loo with our current safeties not named Dix and pray the defense pulls the DL and LBers together with bailing wire and tape.

I really prefer since we have the cap and intend to win this year..

The safeties need to be able to play both safety positions and play with flexibility instead rigidity.

If this is no good, draft again and try again.

Drafting CD Lamb messed up the pretty defensive plan we had.

Time to adjust and move on.
