Why? Was it disrespectful when they gave the number to Dez Bryant? Lamb is a higher draft pick than Bryant was.

True, the jersey does not make you play better, the man inside it does. I don't get the uproar over it. Dez is not coming back period. Others have worn it as well so all this disrespect is a load of BS. Dallas paid Dez when he was here and now he is no longer here time to move on.

Only so many numbers to go around on a football team. you start designating certain numbers as off limits then you will run out pretty quick. I get that players want a certain number, hell, I wanted a certain number when I played. But at the end of the day it really doesn't matter. I think the only numbers you won't see worn again by a cowboy are 12 and 22. Was there this much whining when Antonio Bryant was given 88 after Irvin?
