What Irvin forgot to mention was that you have to be a "true bred" OR have the same last name as the owner's dead friend who also wore that number. If we draft a TE named Lamb, CeeDee better watch his back.

I don't mean to be nitpicky here, and obviously I hope CD leaves a lasting memory wearing 88. But where's the silver? Not in that picture.

LOL .....We may be the first team ever to put a jersey # in the ROH. Hmmm....I was kidding at first but actually not a bad thing to consider a few years from now.

I'm sure Jerry forced Irvin to say that, just like he forced Lamb to take the number 88 over the number 10. No other possibilities other than Jerry's ego and greed.
