I'm surprised we haven't brought in Morgan Burnett with his connection to Big Mac. Think he could be a solid option at SS for run support. Also would love to get someone like Jabaal Sheard to rush on 3-4 fronts and play SAM when in 4-3.

He was still not recovered from off season surgery last year. His playing weight was down 20lbs. He might work out on a one year prove it deal.

Yeah I'm not sure what's the end game for him and Clowned. If they haven't gotten the money they've wanted to this point....when do they expect it to come?

They may look at DE if either Gregory or Smith - or both - have their reinstatement requests denied. Those rulings should be coming in the next 2-3 weeks.

If we want to carry 10 or even 11 DB’s it’s tough to fit another strong safety in unless there is an injury in training camp.

CB: 1.Diggs, 2.Brown, 3. Lewis 4. Robinson 5. Worley 6. Canady 7. Goodwin

CB/S: 8. Awuzie

S: 9.Woods 10. Clinton-Dix 11. Thompson 12. Wilson

I feel like one of Goodwin or Canady could be cut but the rest are required players. So if we brought in a Burnett or T.Jefferson then we’d need an injury IMO.

We have shown interest in Berry in past. Not sure if we never signed him due to failed physical. His time in NFL May be over for good. Sad seeing how he was only safety that challenged ET as best safety in league. Plenty of decent to solid safety’s on the market though. TE seemed tapped out unless we want always injured 36 year old Delanie Walker.

Delanie Walker is better than anyone we have here at TE.

I would also be perfectly happy to sign Ronald Leary.

But I get that both of those signings might stunt some growth.
