Well if the masks are anything like the actual 'Hotboyz' the virus is going to run right through them.

Kidding, good work from them, it's nice to see some positivity from our players instead of arrests and suspensions.

I’m not gonna be like the jackasses above me. Props for giving away masks responders and essential workers. Doesn’t matter what they look like long as it protects them.
Yeah, it's a good gesture in our time of need when these are in short supply. There is an agenda with these. They want to sell their merch and you get that done by giving some away. This is purely business for those dorks. It's embarrassing when you have to go to these lengths to get your nickname out there. If they actually played like a great defense, the nickname will come but these kids put the horse before the cart...

It doesn't look airtight enough for first responders to use.

Yep. If they weren't pushing their "brand", I'd think they were great, for doing some altruistic community service..........but that's not really what they're doing, is it?
Actually, it is.

their site is full of various charities they support and their efforts to raise awareness for those causes.

Sure, you can buy a hat or a t-shirt if you want but almost everything they promote are charities and community efforts here in Noeth Texas

It really does trouble me that so many people see demons everywhere they look and can’t recognize the good in people.

“jaded cynicism” doesn’t begin to describe many of the posters here and that’s not even touching in some of the even more distasteful agendas rolling around (not accusing you on that front at all)

C'mon people........how can you not appreciate what he's doing?

giveaway these masks to first responders and essential workers!
Essential workers, maybe, but these masks look like they're only useful to keep the person wearing them from spreading the virus. It doesn't look like they'd protect the wearer.

I guess we all see what we want to see ... even when the evidence shows otherwise

I get what you're saying, but an altruistic act doesn't require the logo to be legible from 100 yards. Maybe I'm just so against that stupid nickname that anything associated with it seems diminished to me, but this really doesn't seem like they're agenda free.

I don’t care about the name or why they are doing it. They are doing it. Far more than a lot of other people. You are more concerned with them “playing like a great defense”. It’s bigger than that.

 The masks not being perfect in your eyes doesn't invalidate what they are trying to do.

You've basically set your standard to hazmat suits cause even the layered masks and such they're using in hospitals don't meet your standard.

Is that what they're giving away to first responders? I'm a truck driver, considered an "essential worker", and while a mask of this quality is functional enough for me, it doesn't look like something anyone at high risk would wear.

all I see is you trying really really hard not to like it and have a problem with it. It's amusing to because you're insisting they're the ones with the agenda.

I don't have to "try" not to like it. If the logo was small, and off to the side, I would be more receptive of the idea that they're doing this out of some sense of community and charity.

Yes you do not need to repeat the fact that you are going to mitigate any good that may come of what they are doing.

The all-or-nothing reasoning is exactly the type of thing I was talking about.
