Dlaw needs to worry about being a Cowboy and not a "hotboy".
He got paid and forgot he is supposed to be a football player.
If he doesn't start producing more he needs to be on the train.
wish the rest of our defense busted their *** vs the run as hard as DLaw.

The traditional Cowboy handkerchief mask looks so much better, IMO. Bandanas are a dime a dozen.

Right. Because when I joined the previous Cowboys fan forum, the team was too pass happy.
And?

you are dogging our team for having a dumb nickname, “Hot Boyz”, but you have some weird rationalization on your equally dumb, and similar, nickname “Runwildboys” because you used it on a different message board some years ago when you thought it was clever.

is the difference between genius and idiotic the letter “z”?

how you miss the irony is beyond me, but ok

First: I'm not trying to build a brand, printing my user name all over anything I can push on people.
Second: My user name was created to spur the team on, not promote myself in an effort to gain unwarranted attention. It wasn't an attempt to be clever, it was my hope for the team to run more. It's not at all similar to HotBoyz, other than sharing three consecutive letters.
Third: What the Hell is "Kwyn"? Is that a name or acronym for something?
Fourth: Why are you so concerned that I think the HotBoyz name is stupid? As if I'm the only one. I bet if you took a poll, at least 75% of this board would agree.
Fifth: You're much too triggered by someone making a single comment about something that has nothing to do with you.

Hope that soapbox you're standing on has a stable base, sheldon.

Gotta be a relative of his.

I’m not gonna be like the jackasses above me. Props for giving away masks responders and essential workers. Doesn’t matter what they look like long as it protects them.
It’s a dumb nickname for an underachieving bunch of underachievers and it needs to disappear. Truth be told I’d bet it lets the virus walk right in just like our Hot Boys did opposing offenses.
Make ‘em plain and I’d fully support him.

And well-paid and unmotivated. Wish we could send him back to Boise.
Statistically, he definitely wasn't what he was before he got paid, but he did do a lot of things that don't show up on the stat sheet. I'm willing to give it another year, maybe it was injuries, maybe he was just the focal point of the blocking scheme?

Kwyn is KWYN, the country radio station in my dads hometown. When I was a kid I spent many of my summers there at my grandmas and listed to the station every day.

We also have lots of Scott’s-Irish people in our family tree so the play of words with the name Quinn, which was my grandmother on my mother’s side’s maiden name

Spending much of my summers in small town Arkansas while living in a big city like Dallas and attending DISD, the rest of the year sort of made me aware of how differently people in different locales see society and I suppose it opened my eyes a bit.

If you are over the road then you too encounter people of all different walks of life and backgrounds. Sometimes they can’t help themselves get better as people and overcome what they were born into, but sometimes they do!

So, yeah, there are things that I see on this site every single day that “trigger” me, particularly when it comes to people hating on some of our players for their charity work when if their name was Witten, Lee, Bates or Vander Esch, those same actions would be applauded and they’d be called heroes.

Absolutely not calling you personally out on that front but this thread, and the unfortunate take of many of our posters have about what these young men are trying to do to help our community, bothers me.

You seem like a nice enough guy in other threads so again, not trying to paint you with the same brush as some others, but the hate that passes for opinion around here gets old.

Hope I don’t get benched but sometimes you just gotta speak truth to power.

I’ll leave it alone for now. Have a good day.

Yes, I do. He wanted to play that game and get paid, fine - now we get to ride his underachieving azz like a rented mule. He better have double digits in sacks this season or he’s a busta.
I have nothing against DLaw. He busted his butt on the field. It's just the nickname I don't like, and I don't think the masks are being given away strictly out of a sense of charity.

I see, well I appreciate your giving me the benefit of the doubt regarding the agenda to which you're clearly referring. That said, that has absolutely nothing to do with my hatred of the name. I like all the players involved, it's just the name, and the effort to get people to call them that self aggrandizing name (especially since, as a group they haven't earned a nickname yet) that bothers me.
