Funny how anytime a Dak supporter tries to defend Dak it's usually pointing fingers at Garrett or the defense or Zeke's suspension or the waterboy.....it's always someone else's fault but Dak's.

There are 11 Cowboys on the field at all times. Trying to blame playoff losses on Dak is ridiculous. Or any loss. It takes coaching, defense, takeaways, special teams play and a little luck.

What does that have to do with this thread?

Fwiw. He started 8 full seasons and he and team only went 2-4.
Hoping and assuming Dak and team end up doing better.
Roster is certainly set up for it
No rosters like 2010-2013 in site in the near future, so looking positive

:flagwave:
Because he brought up daks record in 4 years. So I brought up daks. Since he has half his playoff wins in a quarter of the time.

Conversely, trying to attribute any win to just one player is ridiculous too. Wins and losses are a team stat. Dak wasn't alone on the field playing every position on offense, defense, and special teams. Dak didn't play-call.

So you are hearlading Dak for 1 playoff win in 2018 while ignoring the fact his playoff record is 1-2 in 4 seasons as the starting Dallas QB? Sorry but if that is all you have to defend Dak you are hanging by a thin rope.
What are we talking about here?
I am not Dak supporter but we do kill him more than he deserves to be.
We all need to level set ourselves. It's not like Dak is replacing Tom Brady. Fans need to get over Tony Romo leaving and retiring earlier than expected.
Romo was nothing more than a good QB. Never won a lick, two playoff wins in his career. He is remember more for his disappointing losses than his big wins. Dak has the potential to be better than Romo, but I also don't want to pay him 40 million a year. To me Cam is worth to sign on a cheap deal if we cant agree with Dak. Healthy Cam is worth the gamble.. This shows I am not a Dak apologist.
People are fascinated by Romo.. The guy could not stay healthy his last couple of years.

Agreed. But for every 1 post giving Dak credit for wins, there are 11,339 posts blaming him for an 8-8 season.

But he scored 31 points vs the Packers despite first 3 opening offensive possessions that were badly misplayed. Garrett goes for a field goal on 4th and 2 from the 30 yard line. Bryce Butler's terrible 37 yard penalty just for a huddle violation, followed by a drop by Terrence Williams that resulted in a punt. Even in spite of these boneheaded errors, he still scored 31 points and would've scored over 40 were those drives better handled.

And vs the Rams, he at least gave us a chance. Gave us a far stronger lifeline than Romo in 2009 against Minnesota. 50 yards passing in the 2nd half, and only 3 points en route to a 34-3 blowout against Favre.

Did you even watch the 2009 playoff game? We lost our starting left tackle Flozell Adams in that game. We didn't have enough line depth. The Cowboy's offense was handicapped because of it and the Minnesota D was already unbelievably good. Even with Witten double teaming the DE to help our worthless backup LT, Romo ran for his life most of the game with a crippled offense and he just got killed. With all due respect, your comparison is short-sighted.

Oh, they took a playboy into the crapper...but, not stupid?

4 years is all the NFL allowed to this point...so, who made what?

Next season, and after the tag is over....when renegotiating again, a 25% lower cap figure won't lower expectations, even for the Mahomes top contract? You now prepared to gamble that now for Prescott and his 'henchman?'

How about putting himself to be drafted out of the job and a new set of contracts replacing his even, next contract, when TV contracts come into play. Is Dallas supposed to just say, go ahead and take all the money, after all the years it took Stephen to get the books straight?

You also going to ignore that Dak, while a Cowboy, makes 5 X's as much in endorsements? That really a stupid consideration.

Then Texas doesn't have an income tax...again stupid.

Allright, let's go...$195 M vs.. $155 M right now....stupid? Naw, ignorant....
All these machinations are a figment of your imagination.

Dak doesn't have to deal with your worry thoughts when negotiating a contract.

If they draft then Dak will compete like always does

If they give Dak new contract or play on tag Dak as proven will get better as a player

Professional Football players don't scare with "what if scenarios" . Pay Dak or move on. Even Romo with Parcells choked but Tony was a very good QB. Dak is a very good QB and deserves a shot..facts...

You can’t coach a guy to have the heart of a lion. Dak has that.

99% of QBs are looking for a safe place to go down when the LBs and DBs converge like that. Not Dak.

I agree!!
Dallas under Dak would of only made the playoffs Daks rookie season if it wasnt for Alex Smith breaking his leg one year and Wentz coming off an ACL tear rehab and broken bone in his back. Zeke and the defense had more to do with winning that Seattle game than Dak did.
One of the most falsely stated posts I've ever read from you, HE. Unbelievable.

I have read my fair share of posts since 2004 but this must be the best joke I have read on CowboysZone. And that is saying something. If it was a serious analogy, it would be like... Dan DeVito claiming he landed Moby Dick using 10-pound test line. In other words, a whopper of a fishing story to be sure. :muttley:

I say BS. Look at the anti Dak threads popping up one every 3 minutes. You're a mod so you should know firsthand.

Despite the coaching.

That was one of the best QB runs of any Cowboy QB in a playoff game.

Clutch run by the QB for sure. An amazing drive where the QB didn't complete a single pass.

Cowboys probably would have been just as successful if they directly snapped to Elliott.

Nope, never said that at all. But if Zeke plays they definitely win one more game and make the playoffs.

Or are you suggesting that Zeke doesn't make a difference?

And Zeke isn't the best RB in the league.
I don’t think he’s even the second best in the league. Elliot

In the video,Dak takes 2 steps back, plants and starts the run. So, in that time, Noah Brown ran almost 20 yards and was wide open in the end zone? Here's a different view. Watch around .02, Noah is at the 15 yard line and around .29 Noah is around the twelve. Noah must have run back out of the end zone. I didn't realize he had that kind of speed.

Excuse me Sir!! The Dak Haters have been doing this mess for 3 seasons

Zach Martin's block was clearly a called run play or Dak changed it....somehow these Dak Haters claim Dak missed a wide open Noah Brown:lmao2:

You can't make this Hate up!! It's inbred
