How do you guys think Zeke will do this season?

I said this in another thread: he'll lead the league in rushing this year.

All the haters will still complain he is paid too much but at least he earned some of the money and then propose some ridiculous trade like Zeke for three defensive starters and a second rounder.

Preach!

With the o
I think he will feast. A lot of weapons on offense. Defense can’t cover everyone. Either receivers will feast or Zeke will run loose. Excited to see this offense play.

Yep, and with Pollard to give variety we should have all the weapons.

If all goes as planned, the offense will score 50 pts in the first half and then they'll feed Zeke the second half... win every game by 85 pts. 3 thousand yards WRs and Zeke will once again be the season rushing leader. :p

I can see a season similar to Emmitt's 1995 MVP season. Zeke will likely have less carries and less TDs but MVP like numbers. Close to 1,700 yards and 20TDs rushing with 5.0yds/carry. He'll probably add 5 to 6 TDs receiving.

The threat of Cooper, Lamb and Gallup with Jarwin down the seam will lead to less stacked boxes for Zeke. Can't wait.

I'll go out on a limb and say he'll flirt with the Cowboys single season rushing record.

The dbag will do as well as the O line does...like every year.

I was just thinking how this will already be his 5th season, the light is at the end of the tunnel, I bet he’s gone in the next 3-4 years and it couldn’t happen soon enough. Can’t wait to throw his going away party, I may even have the DJ he knocked out be the music.

I want to see McCarthy's offense with this type of RB. Curious to see if he goes pass happy or balanced. If he does the latter...you could be on to something.

I expect defenses will prioritize stopping the run regardless of the WR core.

Just need him to be productive for three seasons. There's an out in 2023 where they can lose Zeke's contract with a small amount of dead cap.

Do you think he will improve and overall offer a better season than 19 or do you think he will regress even further?

I personally hope he goes back towards being more physical and agressive.
I think he'll do great.
No controversies, so looking to get paid, just getting ready to play.
I'm looking for him to be a huge part to the 2020 season, especially with the Dak distraction.

For me it’s all about his ego. Will he trip on it I’m a go lying again Only Zeke knows right now. Most overrated running back

If he loses some weight, he can go back to being more explosive. It's that simple.

I dont know if he got heavier:

1. because the Cowboys give him such a huge workload and he needs the weight to keep from wearing down.
2. or lack of discipline and too much partying

McCarthy needs to call him and say "this year we're splitting snaps 70/30 instead of 85/15. you dont need all the bulk. show up to camp 15lbs lighter."

He has pointed out that he's never had a RB of Zeke's caliber, so it will be interesting.

If we have a full season, I expect Zeke to put up about 1,200 yards rushing and about 400 yards receiving. That works out to about 100 yards a game in total yards, which is great.

I don’t really care about stats that much. Put it this way, Zeke has the most total yards rushing the last 4 years in the NFL and we have one wild card playoff win to show for it. Stats are only as good as where they get you as a team.
