Our best game in 20 years. Which one in your opinion?

Like everybody..

we are all starving for winning football again.

Youtube popped this game up on a search and I started watching.

It was our win against the Saints on a Thursday Night Game in 2018.



I watched at what we did right against what was at the time the best team in the NFL.

I saw Dak play well.

Zeke was a Zeke we have not seen in awhile.

Cooper was killing it.

And this game by itself convinced us all we had what it takes.

But what other games would you guys add and why in your opinion do you point to it as a marker game for us?

Everybody seems to want to compare fantasy coaching staffs to other staffs..

coaches against couches..

I want something we can all see and point to and discuss it as it regards the team going forward.

Kill some time and enjoy some football that mattered.

Best? That game should of been over way earlier and we kept them around way too long. Typical Conservative Garrett keeping a game close instead of putting a foot on the throat of the opponent. Steelers in 16, Seahawks 14, Saints 09, Packers 07 come to mind for me, imo.

I chose that because it has alot of the current roster which many know.

I said 20 years as a random time frame since it's been longer than that b/w titles.

Week 17 vs Philly 2009

They completely dominated a playoff team in a must win game for Dallas.

Fresh on my mind was the Rams game last year. Not a great year but a really satisfying outcome to a game, we played pretty good and the revenge factor was in play.

The game vs New Orleans a couple of years ago sticks in my head because their offense was so potent yet the Dallas defense held them , it was agressive rushing the passer and allowing the secondary to make plays. There is nothing better for a defense than a strong pass rush leading into turnovers. I sure hope our defense plays like that all season this year and beyond.

I'd had wondered if the Pope should have considered canonizing such a team as, you guessed it -- the Naw-leans Saints!!
That game renewed my faith in a team (the Cowboys) that had me wondering if they'd ultimately amount to anything good.
To somehow conceive that it might be possible for the Dallas Cowboys to win impressively against them seemed bonkers!But . . . guess what . . . WE DID IT! Was it "pennies from heaven?" NO. Was it a miracle? H-m-m! Was it pure skill?

Lots to choose from. Beating Pittsburgh in their house was pretty sweet. Watching Zeke seal the deal with his game winning run was incredible.

Yeah both were equally impressive. I chose the play-in game because of what happened the previous season under identical circumstances when Philly spanked us.

Wrong Saints game. That win over the Saints wasn’t as good as the win we had over the 13-0 Saints at the dome in 2009. No one was giving the Cowboys a chance in that game. That win led to the Cowboys first playoff win in 13 years. The Saints ended up winning the Super Bowl that season. That was clearly the best and biggest win for the Cowboys in 20 years
