Maybe you will miss Dak as well. Many here complained about Romo and missed him after he was gone. Until you know who replaces Dak you have no idea how happy you will be with the next QB. We do know the JAG bus driver QBs that played in 2015 struggled to score TDs. Neither Romo or Dak has issues putting points on the board.

I'd say 2021 if Dallas is an early out next season. There would be absolutely no reason to tag him a second time. Any ideas of a second tag should go right out the window if the cap doesn't go up next season.

People like myself just do not rate Prescott as a very good QB. It's as simple as that. Nothing personal, no other reason than I just don't understand what all the fuss is about. He is overrated because of his impressive durability but...unfortunately we aren't exactly getting Dan Marino type performances from him in games yet given the way some people bang on about him, you would think that we haven’t signed the next Peyton Manning to a long term deal. He's a bus driver and there are plenty of other options including another one already on the roster for $3 million as opposed to $40.

I know you're in the central time zone.

But the NFL offices are in the eastern time zone. Doesn't all paperwork have to be in by eastern time? If this is the case shouldn't the countdown clock be set to eastern time.

Due to politics and whatever other reasons only Jerry is aware of Dak got 31 million (The PITY Tag) and then will be on his way to another NFL team bench come next season!
This is his last year (Thank God) as a Cowboy!

I'm holding back on the excitement in case the front office make a silly rash decision beforehand. Otherwise it's party time. Only one more season and we can actually focus on winning a Superbowl.
