Could rookie DT Gallimore replace vet Antwuan Woods?

I'm closely watching the Antwuann Woods act, as i'm steadily hearing from pod and radio voices how Human Log is very unhappy with is new reserve backup role and has yet to sign his restricted tender.

i've recently heard it again per Patrik Walker and his interview on Late Night Hype show,..


" where do 2020 Cowboys rookies fit in "

Woods was "expected" to re-sign as a restricted FA.. but hasn't at this point.
i've been hearing several reports how he is disgruntled he has been, he hasn't been responding to texts and social media contacts as he has done so in the past, and all is leading to speculate if he wants to be here, and could he end up asking for a trade . or his release.

And that could explain one reason why i've been hearing how rookie Neville Gallimore could be asked to play 1 tech ...rather than 3 tech, as most viewed and projected him to,... while Trysten Hill could command the 3 tech role behind McCoy.

Now it seems some very difficult decisions will have to be made, with limited information to make them.

Agree. Making a bad pick Hill is one thing. Keeping him on the roster over guys who are demonstrating more ability is even worse.

The clock is ticking, so if you’re thinking about buying a Trysten Hill jersey, you might hold off for a bit.

I thought with 5 preseason games (including HOF game) plus training camp, this would all sort itself out.

Now it seems some very difficult decisions will have to be made, with limited information to make them.

Losing all those reps are gonna hurt young players and make the bottom of the roster very hard to get right

Woods is decent depth and not much more IMO. He is pretty replaceable. I think he signs the tender and plays (if there is a season). But I am not sure he is a candidate to get a new deal in Dallas after 2020.

I have always felt Wood twitter game was much better than his play on field. Wood also has unrealistic view of how much he should get paid (way too many players who put on star fall into this category). We need Gallimore to outplay him in camp.
