Heard Mike said they will practice outside more times than not. No more cushy, AC practices.
This is huge. I couldn't believe how inept the staff was when it came to these little things. I can't remember what game it was last year but I remember it was supposed to rain on sunday and during the week it rained and he had them practice inside. I'm like wth they will be in the rain when they play why not take the opportunity.

It was nice to hear the man talk for maybe the 2nd, or 3rd time! The Covid questions were redundant, but that’s our world now I guess. Very excited to get going though!
It is.

What jumps out at me is when you hear him speak about the team..

I never ever get the feeling we are hearing a Jerrah mouthpiece.

I always felt like most of us, that Jerrah needs a strong HC who is coaching centered and held authority on the sidelines.

Jimster and Parcells where this way. Garrett was anything but that.

Our identity is due for a big makeover.

I know it's been popular around here by some to bash the organization from top to bottom.
But really, as far as facilities and support provided to players and coaches to succeed, it doesn't get much better.

Now the eccentric nature of the owner at times is another deal altogether.

The thing about the impact of the Covid thing..

not going to Cali and instead transitioning to the Star for the preseason work..

Is extremely a big break for us.

Another thing we must acknowledge as being Jerrah driven.

Add this to how the draft under Jerrah went..and negative comments about Jerrah the GM are rapidly disappearing.

Hope it keeps up.

Probably as much a function that they do not really have enough space to run camp inside.

Also important to note that the weather will dictate it and that he anticipates being outside.

This guy has not been here for a an august yet so its easy to say now but when they start physical practices beating the teams brains out in the heat he will realize is pointless.

although it has been mild for the past 7 days. Supposed to get warmer again this weekend though.

I’m so excited for this coaching staff. Every year hopeful we put it together w garrett. This is a breath of fresh air. Big mike let’s right the ship. Finally.

i'm still skeptical of the OL coach. As i research his most recent history he doesn;t have an impressive resume as primary OL coach - and his last stop in that OL coach role with the Colts was a disaster- among the worst vs pass and vs run

and i wondered if Columbo who did at masterful job at pass protection for Dak, could have been given the task and responsible in MM's zone stretch scheme; he was asst coach under ex-OL coach Frank Pollack who ran a zone scheme under Bill Callahan,

Dunno the difference between Packers zone scheme vs Callahan/Pollack zone scheme, and how much they similar or different ,but OL coach Joe philibin is just gonna have to flat convince me that Columbo overall wont be missed,

I agree with this. The first guy to get crucified here is going to be Philbin. If the giants offense is better this year and I believe it will be much better and Dallas offensive line struggles....philbin is going to be public enemy number 1

Garrett. That’s all that can be said. The worst part is. It was raining outside in Arlington that week lol

I bet your wrong. Garrett is not going to improve the Giants offense one bit. It will still be the same.

It was the game against New England and I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t practice outside in the rain. The reports all freaking week was it was going to be a downpour all game long and guess what, it was and they looked like they haven’t ever played in the rain before. As a matter of fact, they played like they never even seen rain before. Just total ineptitude!
