As bad as the defense looked

...they only gave up 20 points.

Not exactly a ton in today's NFL.

With the cap dollars and resources that were put into the offense, I don't think that 21 points a game is a lot to ask.

The defense looks hideous, but in the end the offense let us down. Another very winnable game that they managed to not.

Rams had the ball for over 36 minutes. Rams could have scored more if they wanted. If we were tied or winning they 100% go for it on that 4th and 1 from midfield.

It was a typical cowboys game. We lost due to undisciplined play with 7 penalties. And the offense was bad on 3rd down. And its not a cowboys game without a few key drops.

I just dont get the plan on offense, this is frankly a garrett offense.Green bay routinely took deep shots almost every drive,we did none .and the old problem of scoring TDs still persists.

I was expecting some new wrinkles on offense but same old slow developing run/pass plays. Oline is bad so use misdirection and move Dak around.

They gave up 20 points to the Rams at home. That is not bad. They got an INT and 2 more stops at the end of the game to give their offense a chance to tie or win the game.

Yes the D looked bad at the start of the game but they settled in and got the stops when they needed.

Offense cost us the game & not kicking the field goal.

Given the make up and resource allocation for this team the offense is to blame for this loss. That was just about as good as a person could have hoped for from the defense. The offense is going to have to be much much better if this team is going to go anywhere.

Rams didn’t punt until 31 seconds left in the 3rd

Not exactly the Doomsday defense.

I warned people about Nolan.

That works when you have time. They went after Connor Williams and that Steele dude specifically and that was a big part of the reason. I kept wondering why they didn't have a back chip to help Steele, but I also noticed Connor got some help from Zeke so.....it's pick your poison and frankly handling the inside rush is more important than the outside. I did see a suuuuweeeet Draw play with Zeke though. Been waiting for that.

That was as good as anyone could have hoped? Wow! Expectations are low. Rams aren’t as good as we made them look. Terrible performance

What scares me the most about the defense is that their best player (by far) has not been on the field in 5 years and the LB play is still terrible. Diggs is going to be a good player.

Look who Big Mike hired to coach LBs.

Won’t win many games with our defense.

Almost all categories were a Loss for us

Yes the offense lost the game but giving up 153 yards rushing and 10/18 on 3/4th downs and 1 sac is really bad

You will lose a lot of games with those stats

It's week 1. They didn't look totally in shape. Hopefully they look like athletes next week.

Nolan did enough to get help us win. In the second half they did a little better. My concern is that the pass rush was negated because of quick throws and .....gulp ......screens (this teams kryptonite). They seemed to do better with screens in the second half so I'll chalk that up to Nolan. But where was demarcus lawrence? I give Griffen a pass for a bit as he is just starting to get his feet wet with this team. And Aldon was solid. But again where was DLAW?
