You can't fix stupid! A T.O. and the 2 min warning meant kick it deep.

It was the right play because the defense have shown they cant defend a large field.

Having the team get the ball in the 50, it is a shorter field to defend and the Browns would have called more run plays and settle for a field goal. As you can see, Cowboys couldnt stop a rushing play.
