Those aren’t bad passes when you are getting your behind beaten and time is ticking off. The QB has to play more desperate, and the receivers have to take risks too. Dak protects the ball well in close games.

He didn’t last week in a close game.

I am not defending the defense at all in any way shape or form but the offense can’t take entire quarters off and give the ball away and pray the opposing team lets off the gas after a huge lead. They know how bad this defense is and they refuse to protect the football. They know every point matters with this defense and they still give the ball away like they are a charity organization feeding the homeless.

thats my issue they want to throw it 50+ which is risk with the OL and dont realize high risk passing offense can lead to TOIs that wont help bad defense making them defends short fields and 3 extra possessions..

Yeah, you are excusing Dak’s bad plays because someone else made a bad play. I’m assuming you’d do the same for his near INT’s. He was only spared by bad plays by the Browns defenders.

When you blame the QB while the team gives up almost 50 points.....you missed something.

I blame the whole team, including the quarterback who held onto the ball too long at the beginning of the game and stalled a drive. When you blame everyone but the quarterback, then well there is something else going on there.

I saw a terrible defense on display and stopped watching it after the 3rd quarter. Anyone who thought a comeback was possible in the 4th quarter was just torturing themselves...1-3

we could go 7-9 or even 6-10 and HOST a playoff game

Yeah but if this defense doesn't do a complete 180 by then all its for is worse draft spot and giving up 40 in a playoff loss.

I understand the defense is going to take some lumps (and they should), but turning it over three times is usually a recipe for disaster. Those first two changed the game completely, at least to me. We know the defense is challenged. Hell, we knew it would be in August. Did not expect to us to give the ball away this much.

I’d say he played better than the other safeties.

I think the real issue here is the drafting of Lamb. The Front Office was too stupid to trade down and draft a defensive player. Lamb is a helluva player, but the Cowboys obviously lack defensive talent. So, they draft Lamb and say we’re gonna win games with our offense by scoring at will. Little did they kNow, they were going to have to score 40 every game to have a chance! The reality is this offense has to play perfect game every week for this team to have a chance. How stupid is that? Jerry, you are an idiot...

One defensive player doesn't change this defense. We probably would have picked Diggs. Lamb does change the offense.
