He's one good hit away from ending his career or even permanent injury outside of football. Neck injuries are no joke. Love his drive but man don't rush to come back especially this year.

...wont matter, he'll be out again before you know it. Neck injuries are the Achilles heel in the NFL.

I fractured mine Wakeboarding both times. One of those times I had my buddies duct tape my upper arm to my body so that I could keep boarding the rest of the weekend...
Good to know... reminds me of a certain HOF great that played for this team that did the same in a crucial game years ago.
Or a much maligned former safety who played with two bad shoulders last year.
Unfortunately, you’re not going to find that with this bunch of divas on this squad...

When he does come back I hope he stays healthy, we will really see the difference between him and jaylons football IQ , saying that , it doesn’t take much. I believe with him and Sean Lee in the field it will help alot of guys out tho

it happens in all sports and some can adjust and recover and some cant.. case in point,

what happened to the Golden State warriors seemingly overnight they lost a game 7 and a title due to injury and then the next season lost KD for good still not playing and almost the entire group of starters all on IR.. they weren't really even mentioned last year... went from the penthouse to the outhouse..

The mavs got gut punch because their version of LEe/LVE is KP and if not for his apparent soft play due to injury add in a few others out , they would be contending sooner then expected..

I just have to be honest. LVE isn't the answer either. We need to rebuild the whole defense. I wouldn't keep anybody on this defense. Minus the unknown rookies.

His return will not make a huge difference.
:hammer:....not as long we are stuck in this 3-4 defense...he has zero experience in it. Just this front office setting up another player up for failure.

It must have been a hairline fracture.

I've had that twice in my shoulder and it is incredibly painful but heals quickly.

Only once for me. Crashed on my road bike while cycling. Still rode home 5 miles after the incident. No plate or screws just let the fracture heal and used a sling.

About 3 years ago I fractured both bones in my lower leg (1 bone in 2 places). They were complete breaks (i.e. My foot was unattached from my leg with regards to the bones).

I had walked about 100 yards back to my truck and drove myself to the ER...

The people at the check-in of the ER didn't initially think that I was seriously injured because I was calm.
- They were very busy, but they said they would go ahead an do an X-Ray so that the Doctor would have it once he was available.
- After the X-Ray they came rushing back out to the waiting room and rushed me in to see the Doctor.

I had to wait 3 days for surgery to allow the swelling to reside.
- Now I have steel plates and about 12 large screws in my leg.
