He got paid. That's what it's about. He and his agent were smart. Get the contract done before the draft because you never know what can happen. And it did happen but he was covered.

Really? He contract has a clause that he gets to decide when he is on the field or subbed for?

To further reiterate my previous post...

Amari is on pace to play 1,002 team snaps this season. That will be a career high. Also keep in mind, we have attempted an insane amount of passes which would obviously tire a wide receiver more than a run up the middle or to the opposite side.

Despite being active 16 games last season, he logged 845 snaps.

Plus Wilson and Noah Brown are showing something and EARNING more snaps. With an injured reserve list that looks like Gettysburg, is it really a bad thing to give talented backups snaps that help them develop?

The simple fact of the situation is that if Wilson and Brown deserve snaps, then Cooper and his contract are not needed one day longer than the day it's feasible to cut or trade him. That money needs to go the Gallup and a couple of defensive upgrades.

So therefore, cooper is just a luxury at this point.

He's not. He's the best of the bunch.

You guys are really trying to outsmart yourselves here.

And FWIW, you can't trade him now anyway as the cap hit since we just signed him this year would be really high.

Romo even mentioned on the broadcast yesterday they had Wilson and Brown in there alot to set up the "philly special" touchdown toss to Dak from Wilson. It's nice that at least Noah Brown is somewhat paying off after so many seasons of nothing. Well, maybe not "paying off" but he's a pretty great 5th receiver with a nice complementary skill set.

Exactly, Noah Brown, Dalton Schultz and Trysten Hill are this year's examples of why you never "cut that bum" when young players are still developing. They can take a huge leap in performance after years of nothing.

If you weren't so interested in being my fan boi, maybe you could dive into my conversations without your emotion distorting the meaning of what I said in your hot anticipation of finally "getting one" on me. But continue on. Lol.

2nd in the league in catches, 6th in yards. 23 of 39 catches have gone for a first down, which is 4th most catches in the league. he's such a clown.
Statistics are less than meaningless.

Your eyes tell you Lamb is already a far superior player.

More important than snap % is who they threw to twice in a row with the game on the line. But really it's good to see us spread the ball around and not hyperfocus on 1 guy.

I know reading comprehension isn't your thing, but you replied to WG's post saying Cooper was producing to say "Its all about the contract".

There is only one way to read that.

I never implied to trade him,and he may be the best of the bunch, but he is off the field to much and sometimes in critical situations when he is needed most..even you have to admit that..hey you don't have to agree with me,just listen to yesterdays broadcast, which they said pretty much the same thing.

Interesting that Cooper 82% is less than Gallup 90% for the season. CD surprisingly trending down. Wilson bumping up to around 20% last two games.

With the injuries at T, we've gone with more TE. We've been around 120% between Schultz and Bell for weeks now.

Only so many snaps to go around. But I have to think that Cooper isn't fully healthy for him to have a reduction in snaps relative to Gallup.
