Colin Cowherd questions if Dak will be back in Dallas?

Colin Cowherd isn’t doubting Dak Prescott’s ability to come back from yesterday’s horrific ankle injury, but he’s not too confident in the Dallas Cowboys as a franchise.

“Dak will be back. Dak will get paid by somebody. Dak is a great kid. Dak’s injury will not define him,” Cowherd said. “I just worry that the Cowboys will define him.”

What Colin means by that final line is he doesn’t think Dak will ever be able to overcome the Cowboys’ franchise, which he feels is fatally flawed.

You can hear his explanation below. It centers around Jerry Jones and Dallas’ porous defense.

When you look in the mirror just remember that you and your brethren keep morons like Cowturd and Skip Bayless employed...

Can’t stand Skippy. He’s a total troll. But did you even watch Cowherd. He was bashing the Cowboys organization not Dak.

If its Andy Dalton it won't be. He's not nearly as polarizing as Romo and/or Dak have become. But I guess the backup QB never really is polarizing until he gets in the game huh?
Dalton is auditioning for a gig elsewhere next year. Not here. But yea, nobody is polarizing as a backup.

Cowturd always bashes anything Dallas.
He reminds me of many posters on here. They seek out the negatives, then embellishes them, never any positives.

I don't listen to him, or any of the others. Actually this year I rarely been watching anything. Flip over to ESPN or NFLN once in a while, but rarely watch more than 5 minutes. Unless about the Cowboys, if I catch it at the right time.
Only time I tuned in more than that was after the miraculous Atlanta win. Have not watched anything this week yet, except if about Dak's recovery after surgery. That has been maybe a total or 30 minutes.

It is all a waste of time right now to me. Maybe later on during playoff push time, I will pay more attention. Either for the playoffs, or next years draft..

Our organization deserves to be bashed for not building better teams around Dak.

I really do not like Cowherd. He is over the top all the time. But underneath his deeply piled horse manure there is a modicum of truth. Jerry has not been able to build a contender, a serious contender in over 25 years. He wasted the careers of Romo, Witten, And so many other players because of his management philosophy. I often wonder if Jerry's goals are to win rather than just putting a popular entertaining team on the field to draw attention to himself.

.

I don't wonder...

I look at the results and draw my own conclusion.

Only 1 team wins the SB each year
32 owners make money every year
Jones and Co focus on the the second point first.

Yes ans no. I heard this segment and he was saying that this is an 8-8 team with Dak and now an 8-8 team without Dak. He thinks Dak is good, but not good enough to overcome Oline & defensive issues.

Jerry's got enough money at this point, he wants to win as badly as anyone....he just doesn't know how to do it and that is the problem, If he swallowed his ego and had hired any competent GM in the last 32 years we would have had ourselves another SB or two

Basically not good enough to overcome our dysfunctional organization.

What about all of the other careers that was wasted in Dallas? Romo, Witten, Ware, etc, all deserved better. Dak has played with more talent than any of players from the last 25 years, but that only lasted a year or two.
Agreed. And that’s the much bigger story here.

And while he’s had a good supporting cast on offense we haven’t on defense. It’s not been balanced.

If Dak truly wants more success should he look to move on?
