Colin Cowherd questions if Dak will be back in Dallas?

This defense wasn’t much before the injuries. And they are responsible for the bust. They would have had the Cap to sign some who walked if hadn’t over invested in Cap on offense.

Injuries are just an excuse. Depth had been an issue for this franchise from over paying and investing in injury riddled talent and over hyped talent.
Another clueless "WELL KNOWN MEMBER who should STICK WITH CHECKERS!

Who didn't deserve to be signed to a long term contract on the offense and who is the over hyped talent you're referring to BEFORE JJ signed them?

There isn't one team and I mean one team in the NFL who has been hit with this many injuries to STARTERS. Personally, I don't listen to the experts or the "WELL KNOWN MEMBERS" like you! Every other post is jamming JJ's *** up because the Cowboys aren't relevant this year. All the crap that has happened to the Cowboys isn't JJ's fault. He opened up his wallet and paid quite a few players and I suppose because so many of these players turned out to be busts that's his fault too. Who would of guessed J. Smith and Lawrence would be after thoughts on this defense. These two players have turned into MAJOR BUSTS, there no other way to put it. These two players could carry a defense if they played anywhere close to what we thought their potentials were suppose to be, but that's JJ's fault.....right????? Go blow smoke out of someone else's *** and leave the real posting to us men........... WELL KNOWN MEMEMBER, what a joke!
Perhaps you should start listening to “well known members” because you’re clearly ignorant when it comes to this team’s personnel decisions and obviously don’t keep up with the rest of the league.

Yes, just because a GM/Owner opens up his wallet doesn’t excuse him of liability from being a moron. So you’re saying owners/GM’s who pay money for players shouldn’t be held responsible for poor decisions regarding those players?! Lol, I guess Bill O’brien should have been GM of the year instead of being fired!

Not one team has been hit with as many injuries to starters as the Cowboys and you mean “not one team?”
Before I make you look further a fool, I suggest you do a little more research. I literally have the link copied, and just to need to paste it, to show how wrong you are. Proceed at your own risk, you’ve already made some ridiculously dumb comments and I’m giving you one last chance to correct yourself or not respond (most likely scenario).

BTW, not that this matters, but even if you were right about who has the most injured starters currently (which you’re not), the question should be who had had the most injured starters since week 1 in which case you’re still wrong.

It’s not a matter of deserving but priorities. Drafting Lamb was a luxury pick if we kept Cooper. But basically what teams are keeping their Elite QB contract, Wr and RB. Something has to give .

On defense Lawrence and Smith both overhyped .

I think Dak would be better off going elsewhere. This team isn’t built to win with a 30-40 million dollar QB. The roster isn’t balanced enough. We need a serviceable QB and more playmakers on D.

I actually agree with this. What this team needs is a total rebuild from top to bottom. Not realistic considering the Jones will never sell the team, but we as fans need them to do that if we want to see SB again imo. Dak’s situation is unfortunate. He will never win here. He could somewhere else, but not here. Idk if he realizes that or not. Maybe the reason he isn't signing a discount is because he is aware of it. It doesn’t matter who is QB for the team is. While Jerry or Stephen are running this team the way that they are this team will be like it has been for the last 28 (or however long it has been) years.

What about all of the other careers that was wasted in Dallas? Romo, Witten, Ware, etc, all deserved better. Dak has played with more talent than any of players from the last 25 years, but that only lasted a year or two.

Ware got out and got his ring at least.

Lotta money in that offense. Funny it's still #1 with a bunch of injuries and yet can't compensate with the anemic other 2 phases.

The defense needs a total rebuild, not the whole team. I think Andy Dalton will do fine simply because of the weapons Dallas is surrounding him with. Even with a banged up o-line the Cowboys are second in the NFL in points scored. That shouldn't change minus Dak because Dalton is the best backup this team has had in a very long time, even better than Jon Kitna.

What the Cowboys need to do (barring a turnaround these last eleven games) is to find a better defensive coordinator; better defensive tackles, and better safeties.

Yea but it’s always something isn’t it? If they have a number 1 offense that have the worse defense. On the rare occasion they have a good defense they have an erratic offense. Its like SAS says. They always find away to lose.

It seems that way, but try not to fall into the trap of listening to SAS. For a guy that supposedly hates the Cowboys, he sure lets them live in his head 24 hours a day. His whole act is a sham. The network he works for knows how many Cowboys fans there are, so SAS rails against them daily in a ratings grab.

Not saying he's never right, just remember he's in the entertainment business more than the reporting business.

We all should hate this Cowboys organization . It’s what has prevented this franchise from more success this era. This dysfunctional ownership is an embarrassment.

Colin can't seem to decide whether he'd prefer to be a Cowboys advocate or not. On one broadcast, he's all for everything that's happening with this team and later, he's prone to criticizing everything that they stand for. I guess that's what serves his purpose when the time is right. Evidently, it depends upon what sounds applicable at that point in time. Silly me, for expecting him to cater to a team that he really couldn't care less about. It's par for the course, I suppose. Seems a shame we can't all be fans of the "good guys." Gotta get those clicks! ;)

What Colin means by that final line is he doesn’t think Dak will ever be able to overcome the Cowboys’ franchise, which he feels is fatally flawed.
The way I felt about Tony when it was time for him to get a new contract.

"Run, Tony! Get out while you can!"
