It has been known for a long time that Disney/ABC/ESPN would be very aggressive for more NFL, the most valuable programming in television. As far back as early 2019, there was buzz about ABC wanting a Super Bowl.

However, according to sources, it is more than that as the pitch Disney is making to the NFL is that it currently pays the most so it deserves the best prime-time regular-season schedule.

Ugh, I don't want to see this happen. ESPN's MNF announcing team is bad and I think that the production and quality of the SNF broadcast will go down if it's switches to ESPN.
Well it would be on ABC , not espn if they got it.
Disney has billions to play with, they might buy al and chris from SNF, as what would they do otherwise for nbc?
As long as it is on abc and they keep al and chris, I am cool with it.
I dont think they would be stupid enough to change announcers and format, but they might be that stupid.
It could be just a change in channels.

If Disney were smart, they would have put mnf on abc years ago and have more viewers, get better games, and make more money.
having it on espn is just ********. I did not know they owned espn.
So they might be dumb enough to screw it all up lol. Buy a good product and downgrade it lol.

Who said NFL value was tanking ???? Pretty sure I heard it here.....a few times (lol)
Nfl games are the only big rated shows left on free tv, abc, nbc, cbs, fox. They make most of their money off nfl games, which have way higher
ratings than any of their other tv shows.
So to those networks nfl games are gold. That is the main reason we have a nfl season right now, they need those games on tv.
