its a smaller body camera with a small lens it appears allowing for those tight shots with the big depth of field. The background looks burred in this situation creating that look.

Kinda like using a dslr and a 55 mm lens zooming in and taking a still image.

It will get old in 2 weeks if they continue to use it as often as they're doing today.
