Players being upset and wanting to be traded is nothing new.
What makes this one interesting is that it's a franchise QB, in a new deal and we know the reason(s) for why he's upset.
Teams can cut contracts or trade players at any time and no one bats an eye. But when a player wants out of a team, he's a bad guy or entitled.
Watson had to deal with BoB for years, trading away talent, unable to build a team around him. He talks to the owner who promises him something then backs out of it. While a player doesn't have anything in his contract to make demands about a GM, it's also sort of bad business for the owner to say something to his star player and then throw it away.
Watson really hasn't gone public about wanting to be moved or gone on twitter rants. Right now it' mainly, "sources tell me" type of articles.
