"Idiot posters" at least know no one is giving 2 first round pics for Dak.
They would. Watson is going to command 4-5 firsts alone.

the reality is all NFL executives know most quarterbacks right now... suck.

Outside of

Mahomes
Dak
Watson

all the young under 30 quarterbacks are looking like one hit wonders or generic system quarterbacks. No wonder NFL.com has Dak the #1 free agent and Watson the best quarterback potentially prospect available.

I would not include Dak in that group at the moment, primarily because he's coming off injury. If he were to hit the open market, I believe there are several teams that would be lining up to sign him, but to also trade two firsts for him when he missed almost the whole season, I can't see that.
How many quarterbacks change offensive coordinators and put up 30+ touchdowns?

I definitely put Dak up there because he’s proven he’s not a system quarterback and can play in multiple schemes. It’s funny because I use to think he was Alex Smith with mobility:laugh:

Mahomes, Watson, and Dak are the only young quarterbacks worth a darn.

Again, he missed almost all of last season with an injury. Teams do not know how well he's going to return from that injury. They would not invest two first-round picks and the money it would take to sign him.

He doesn't belong in that group right now for that reason. You invest in ability and health not just ability. Now, if he's on the open market, it's a different story.

Rams had to give up a 1st to get rid of Goff.
I'm surprised the Eagles could get two 2nd round picks for Wentz if the rumor is true.
Colts would do better keeping their draft picks and taking the best available QB in the 1st or second.

I'm guessing the Eagles will take whatever they can get at this stage. I doubt they want to keep him for another year.

Only idiots like certain posters on this forum think he’s worth that.

Only QBs worth more than 2 1sts with no extra fluff are

Mahomes
Watson
Dak
Russel Wilson
Rodgers

Everyone else is either too old, expandable, or unproven
I like Dak. Hope he can be a dynamic play maker, or at least walk.

The Colts are in bad shape, but the Bears have starting QBs. It's about surrounding them with talent.

Where are all of the Wince supporters who vehemently have said he was a by far better QB than Dak the past 5 seasons? The same ones who said Wince would prove to become a far better QB than Dak by this time in their careers?
Come on. Time to man up! :D

Howie Roseman screwed this up. I hope Pederson gets hired and wins another Super Bowl before the Eagles sniff the playoffs again. What a kick in the balls that would be to Lurie.

The most a team can trade is 3 years worth of draft capital (this year and the next 2 years draft) so that means a maximum of 3 firsts for Watson that can physically be traded (unless you are someone like the Jets who have 2 firsts this year so technically could do 4 firsts). I think because of this, a team wanting Watson would have to trade players as well as picks.

I could see someone like the Dolphins trading for Watson by giving their 2 firsts this year, Tua.....heck maybe our old friend Byron Jones. Texans really don't want to trade Watson but a deal like that would make them think there's a chance to get out of this without the same kind of fallout from the Hopkins trade last year.

Everything I'm reading/hearing, the issue (s) teams have with Wentz is not his physical talent but intangibles, like between the ears and the contract. In other words, his contract seals your marriage to him for the next 2-3 years whether you fix him or not.

I think the Dolphins and Jets can offer the best package. Both can include a young starting QB and high picks in their packages. But honestly, you now have to whether or Wilson trade rumors have legs. If so, again the Jets could offer the best package....2nd overall pick 2nd 1st rounder AND Donaldson ( former USC player I'm sure would love going back west ).

When the Stafford trade happened everyone assumed qbs on the move would get multiple firsts. The move the Rams made was desperation. To get away from Goff. They woulda traded more in all likelihood to get that contract pitts la

Damn.......Colts and Bears don't even have starting QBs but so they both refuse to offer a 1st. Howie may have screwed this one up......the best he may be able to get 2022 conditional 1st.

Colts and Bears better be careful. The Pats might swoop in and steal Wentz.
