I agree with Jimmy.

Pretty much with everything he says.

You ever get to retire to South Florida, I expect an invite for some good fishing.
I'll bring the beer/liquor, and I bring good beer/liquor.

Jimmy's a little revisionist when it comes to the receivers we've had with Prescott.

As a rookie, he had a declining Bryant, a so-so Terrence Williams and a blossoming Beasley. Same the next year, except teams figured out that Bryant was declining and Williams was so-so and took away Dak's go-to weapon Beasley.

Then, we got rid of Bryant and started the next season with Beasley, Allen Hurns and Michael Gallup as essentially our top three, but with Tavon Austin and Deonte Thompson mixed in in a receiver-by-committee effort. With that group, we were poor as a passing offense until we got Cooper.

In 2019, Beasley left and we replaced him with Randall Cobb. That was a very good corps, and maybe it's what Johnson is referencing.

However, most consider last year's corps to be the strength of the offense with Cooper, first-rounder Lamb and Gallup. And we were putting up some record passing numbers before Dak got hurt. It's hard to say what those numbers would have ended up being if Prescott had stayed healthy or what we would have finished.

But the point of this is that Prescott hasn't had best-in-the-league receiving corps each year he's been here, only in 2020, when we had our starting quarterback for five games.

Deal.

Leaving next week to look for a house.

And I’ve been in the beer business for 30 plus.

We’ll get on with it just fine

I’m retired, and been thinking of returning to South Florida, maybe split my time between there, Jupiter, and here DFW area.
Someone staying in for now. Once the lease is up in August, I need to decide to lease it again, or go stay for a while.
A few miles from the beach. Just depends on a few things come that time.

I can figure out how to get all the Cowboys games. Log into my cable account in this area. Watch on internet. Or my TV, as it has a web browser.

So, regarding Dak being a good QB getting a great QB contract.....well, Jimmy just said the same thing.
He likes Dak, of course, but said (unlike some of the great QBs) Dak specifically needs great players around him to win.

That's all Colin said earlier and some tore him a new one.
Jimmy just said the same thing.
