The Draft Scenario that scares me

There's been lots of talk Dallas could have a chance to select either, Pitts, Sewell, Slater, Surtain, or Horn at ten, I looked at the the teams needs ahead of Dallas and I'm not putting in possible trades, even though word out there that Atlanta wants out of their spot... If every team stays put and selects a player, what happens if this draft scenario happens and it could very well happen,,,, what does Dallas do at ten????

1. Jacksonville Jaguars - Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

2. New York Jets - Zach Wilson, QB, BYU

3. San Francisco 49ers - Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State

4. Atlanta Falcons - Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama

5. Cincinnati Bengals - Penei Sewell, T, Oregon

6. Miami Dolphins - Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

7. Detroit Lions - Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama

8. Carolina Panthers - Rashawn Slater, T, Northwestern

9. Denver Broncos - Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina

10. Dallas Cowboys

Now what????

I don't want a linebacker at 10...I'm hoping to trade back!
sorry but in that scenario Parson is lock homie

also in that scenario makes Farley more valuable he will go if we pass on him and hope he falls if we trade down..

OK at this point I’m going back to my Zach Martin scenario. You take the most worthy. The football player the guy who wants to play. That was Martin never missed a game. I’m not drafting need and I’m not drafting best player. I’m drafting most Worthy. That’s attitude everything. But you have to skull prayer the draft to find out who that person is. I’m thinking it’s the middle linebacker

Trade back.

Pick up Moehrig to play SS, Holland to play FS and slot CB, and add another CB/DT/LB/OT.

Boom. At least two new starters in the secondary.

well if they trade back its for Farley but if farley gets hijacked maybe moehrig is the parachute pick

however o dont see this scenario lead to any choice but Parsons with Lee gone LVE always on IR and JS being our only healthy and available starter, easy choice..

The OP is a nightmare scenario as far as players coming off the board.

I think Jerry's yacht line would ring for Jones or Chase though.

Devonta , trade Gallup for a NE CB. Solved

you're not getting much for Gallop, lucky to get a third round pick for him and if you select a receiver at ten, then you're not even getting that and you want a 30 plus year old corner who wants a new deal, NO THANKS!!

QBs will be taken, at least 5 before we pick. We are assured a good pick worthy of the 10 pick will be there.

That would actually be a dream. In that secnario ONLY 3 QB's have been taken. Teams will be dying to trade up for one.

Farley, Parsons, or trade back. A MLB like Parsons is JUST what this defense needs.

JaMarr Chase
He would be the last player with a blue chip grade and BPA by far,
You'll be glad he's on the roster come 2022.

LOL.............lets all be thankful that you dont run the Cowboys draft room. AS bad as they are, you would be even worse. NO regard, whatsoever for teem needs or roster building. And like a layman you overvalue offensive players because they show up on the stats sheets with fancy TD's.

it is simple . the cowboys/jones boys need to make a list of players they think are worth that # 10 pick.
if one of those are there u take him. if 2 or more are there go by how u graded them.
Otherwise trade back with a deal u already had setup with another team.

The far more likely scenario is 5 QBs and Chase make 6 of those 9 picks.

I take Chase without blinking. The logjam at WR will only exist for a year. Then I go D 3 of the next 4 while getting an OT in the next 2 rounds as well. Perhaps James Hudson at 99. I’d need be I would use my 5 to move up for him.
