I don’t see the outbreaks by teams like last year. I think these owners have made the vaccine available to all players that want it.

“What do voluntary mean?” - Hambrick.

I personally would skip anything voluntary where I work so I am in no position to complain.

Those who are hungry and really want the job will show up. Easy to weed out who really wants to play.

A lot of the rookie draftees and especially the Undrafted free agents will show up.

It wouldn’t bother me if the vets didn’t show up at all. I will be just as happy watching some new players.

Probably a legal move. Can't have players suing the players association for not providing protection for them.

Not sure if it is legal, but I think there is a liability towards duty. The union was formed support players rights in safety and health. Their primary mandate. This guidance seems in keeping with the reason why they started the union back in the late 50's.

This is my problem with the statement.

"Despite having a completely virtual off season last year, the quality of play across the NFL was better than ever by almost every measure"

Not even close to the truth. I don't think I could handle too many more seasons like that. The injuries were also off the charts.

I pretty much agree. It's just that vaccinations should be available at some point.

Yup, injuries seemed ridiculously high with abnormal amount of severe injuries like ACLs

They are available, but you might have to to get up off your couch to get one. My 18 year old daughter got hers last week and she doesn't do anything but sleep and eat every day.

Meh.....they show they show, if not so be it. I can't blame players for looking out for their own self interest.

LOL. Yeah it's starting to become much easier to get one where I live now too. My 30 year old niece got hers.

I guess when you own your own business and are responsible for making payroll every two weeks, you look at this a little differently. Very disappointing, but I expect nothing more from the NFLPA.

Guaranteed that future contracts being handed out will start including an incentive pay to attend mandatory practices and meetings.
Get in line at the DRs office for your work excuse absence.

And people say the owners are greedy....isn’t this by the NFLPA along with their plan to not have any off season workouts or OTA’s and mini camps in a way greedy....hey don’t go do your job to work out and stay in shape in a supervised manor nor learn in person the playbook and schemes...just show up week 1 and play to collect your overpaid salary.
Yes that is selfish and greedy.
