Would you do a trade-back with the Eagles?

NFL Draft rumors: Eagles trying to jump Giants for Jaylen Waddle?
Philadelphia moved from No. 6 to No. 12, and may now be trying to move up again

If the Cowboys knew for sure wr would be the pick for both teams it would basically be a free pick since I doubt the Cowboys are looking at receiver. But if Eagles and Giants both take corner then it would be an L.

Like most things in life, it depends.
Depends on what Philly is offering.
Depends on who is still on the board.
Depends on what other teams are offering.

Ideally, I draft Pitts or Sewell at 10 and don't entertain any trade offers.
Next best scenario would be for the Giants and Eagles to compete for pick #10. I make the Giants pay through the nose to keep Philly from jumping ahead of them. I then trade the 11th pick to the Eagles for some more picks since the Eagles don't want me to trade the pick to another team.

They’re only moving up from 12 to, so we’re talking about 100 trade points.

so swapping allowing g us to move up 4-5 spots) with us in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds would be fair

BTW...what would it cost? 2nd rounder????
A second-rounder would be a big overpay. Philly's second-rounder, #37, would be a huge overpay. #70 would also be an overpay. #84 seems like a reasonable expectation.

If they offered #70 or better, I wouldn't hesitate. If they offered #84, I'd take it only if we had enough guys in the same tier that we wouldn't risk losing out.

Here's an interesting possible trade. We get #12 and #37, they get #10, #75 and #99. We go from four picks in the top 100 to three picks in the top 50 (but nothing else until day 3).

This thread is foolishness to start out with but tell me when a team that moved to a top ten pick got there by trading their 1st round pick and just a 2nd round pick?

Seriously? We moved from 12 to 6 for Claiborne for our 2nd rounder. Nobody's paying more than (or even) a second-rounder to go from 12 to 10.

In '19, the Steelers went from 20 to 10 with their 2nd-rounder (#52) and a future 3rd-rounder. No way Philly is giving us #37 to move up two spots. If they do, you take it.

I would take a 2nd round pick from them to move back 2 spots provided the players we covet are still there.

If they want Waddle, then sure.

I don't understand the fascination with him... He's like a lesser version of Percy Harvin ... Not a true #1 receiver.
