Can't wait! They had to do a little refiguring once the 17th game was approved so it's no surprise the release date of the schedule is a little later on the calendar. I'm hoping that road game to NE is earlier on the schedule for the Cowboys and not literally the 17th game.

I’m sure Goodell will make it as hard as he can us as always. These “easiest” schedules in the league for the past several years have been nothing but a smoke screen designed to hide his hatred for us. I can’t wait to see what kind of screw job Goodell, the other owners and all of the other NFL personnel have in store for us.

We can never catch a break. Sometimes I don’t even know why we bother playing, we all know they will never let us win. I feel like Goodell has been commissioner since our last Super Bowl win, there’s clearly no other reason we haven’t been able to win a single divisional playoff game since then.

Get ready to get screwed!

Please for the love of God don't give this team any Monday night or any nationally televised games.

Why? Just because of the weather? Even then, until proven otherwise, NE is the 2nd worst team in that division only behind the 2nd worst team in the league. The Patriots reign of terror is no more. I’m more concerned when we play Tampa Bay and our division rivals.

It might actually be good for them to get embarrassed on national tv right out of the gate so they don’t get used to that sense of entitlement they seem to have every year. A good punch in the face could do the Hot Boyz some good. I’m not even joking.

Remember 2 years ago when they started off 3-0 by beating literally 3 of the worst 4 teams in the league? That didn’t end up so well.

The reason we match up with NE is that we are the 2nd worse team in our division. Which current organization has a better record of turning around a team?... It's NE. The Cowboys don't do well in inclement weather which is why I don't want to go to NE late in the season. I doubt the weather in Tampa is so bad unless it's raining.

By then, complaining about the draft should've calmed down and folks can move on to complaining about the schedule.

Then the same people will predict 13 wins.
Haha that made me chuckle. It’s true.

Are you still butthurt about that bag 'o burgers you lost? Damn, I'd almost forgot about that. LOL

From the perspective of the offseason, I don't bet on any games. I have to get a feel for this team before I'm comfortable about wagering burgers. Maybe late September, my friend.

Haha...after I mentioned the Jets, I had a sudden recollection and I believe that is the bet I lost with you? I also placed one other bet on here with someone else but I can’t remember which was which. Anyways, I had instant regret for mentioning the Jets but it was too late to change it once I remembered. I was waiting for you to throw it back in my face, lol.

I agree, better to get a feel. We’ll circle back around to this later in the season and yes I’m still butt hurt. It’s not about the money, I just hate losing any bet

Buddy, I would never throw that back in your face. I hate losing bets too so I'm always a good winner or loser. We'll definitely circle back to this at a more appropriate time.

Figured it would be mid May. I guess it’s not too bad of a wait. Normally it would have been this week, most likely Thursday. However they waited last year, and adding the 17th game, changes enough to cause the delay.

Good thought -- our chances would improve somewhat, free of getting 'em on a freezing day in New England. :omg:
