Potential surprise 1st round picks

There are times Kay Adam’s strikes me as really pretty but then other times she looks like an old lady.

People are talking about the LT from NDSt. There was something on NFL Channel about him, again today. Lots of people like that kid, I guess. Radunz, I think it is.

This kid Radunz is interesting. I mean, he's only like 300 lbs so I don't know if he can put on weight or not, but he is interesting. Kid has decent feet and technically does a good job in his sets, gets really nice angles and effectively gets blocks at the second level. I like him just has the short arm thing going on and is a little undersized. I saw him while I was checking out Lance. He kind of jumps out at you.

Anyhow, here is a highlight vid of him. He has some interesting tape.

Thats my dark horse.

I would love to grab him at 44 but i think he might go 1st.

Dont teams have 1st round grades on 15/16 guys pretty much every year?

I think first round grades are around the same this year, might be down a player or 2.
With that being said day 2 prospects is super deep this year.
Problem with the draft for the Cowboys is it’s slim pickings for defensive players and really lacks elite players overall. Surtain is a really good player, but not an elite type cb prospect.

I was on the Darrisaw wagon for awhile but now he's moved up too much. I still like Cosmi, I like Brown from Northern Iowa and I like Brad Christensen later in the Draft. But this kid is very interesting. I just worry a little about his size and now, I don't even know if he will be around. If we don't get a LT in the first, then I'd rather wait till later in the draft.

I wouldn't be opposed to Brown in the third or fourth or Christiansen in the fourth or fifth. Those are the type of OL we should be looking at IMO, players we can develop like Doug Free to take over for Tyron when he retires (or play RT and allow Collins to move to LT).

That's not really much of a reach Williams is ranked 25th, Campbell is 35th, and Stokes is 39th.

I don't agree with that. If you can get a cornerstone LT get him. But, if you can't, don't overpay. Just go find somebody who you might be able to develop because we are short in terms of Smitty. But yeah, if you can get a generational talent at LT, you are never going to regret that move IMO.

The OL coach was at the Notre Dame pro day so It wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with one of them.

The idea here is to name guys who you would think have no chance of going in the first but surprisingly will. I have seen mock drafts with Stoke and Campbell going in the first so if they do it would not be a surprise.

Here are a few guys I think might actually surprise a lot of people;

Davis Mills, QB, Stanford
Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
Jay Tufele, DT, USC
Quinn Meinerz, OG, Wisconsin-Whitewater
Jalen Camp, WR, Georgia Tech
