Neither corner has separated themselves as the top at the position. Think their tags are touching, either player would be fine.

For me Surtain and Horn, if put in old school grades, would grade A and A-....

And I'd think Fields in that case. Ryan's cap hit next year is over $48 million. Can't see the Falcons paying that, though nobody knows the cap next year, or if the Falcons could re-structure and drop that number down.

Also he'll be 36 years old in 3 weeks, even these days that's old for a quarterback, if you think he can play like Brees, to age 40. Only four years to that mark. Letting Fields learn for a year would be good for the Falcons. Could even consider Lance, who's very green but a year in the NFL can get you lots of coaching...

Good stuff. I can’t help but to think that picks #4 and #9 are in flux. I think Atlanta wants to move down and gain more picks in the worst way, especially with the big organizational changes. I also feel that Denver wants to move up to get a top quarterback.

I can see the two teams swapping spots with one another or with someone else but I think those two spots are definitely in play.

Interesting coz Surtain, Horn or Parson are the only 3 defensive guys we have seen mock in the top 15 mostly.

Agree 100%.........can certainly see the Falcons moving down but NOT out of the top 10.

It certainly does. I definitely feel that while Horn may have a bigger potential upside, he also has the bigger potential downside as well.

It's not just about yr 1, it's the life of their rookie deal. If they feel Horn will become the better player, they will take him.

That's where the strength of the draft is at the top. It is possible top 10 picks are all on the offensive side of the football.

I've heard Denver whispers that they believe 1 QB will fall to them. They could be a wildcard as they have a defensive HC. Heard they are also not in the market for a Tackle. Could go corner, linebacker or edge rusher.

It's very possible, they go QB. Pitts himself, even said he expects 4 QB's taken in a row.

It's not just about yr 1, it's the life of their rookie deal. If they feel Horn will become the better player, they will take him.

It's also about bigger vs smaller risk. Horn = fewer picks and more pass interference calls, and one year of high quality.

Wilson is only "chalk" at #2 because it's the Jets. He's the most likely bust of the 5 QBs.

true. I get it. I like Horn but not really at ten and def not over Surtain. Seems like Surtain is a bit more certain. Horn could have more upside but also could be much worse too. We have to many needs to take any risks on these picks IMO.

It's a good question, they may jump to to 7, if their QB is there. Lions would still get a top 10 prospect. After 6, the next three selections could go in many directions.
