i think surtain goes 8 to carolina and horn is our pick.
i'm good with both.
That’s my thinking
Then Jerry needs to get on the phone and work some magic to add an extra second this year
We don’t need 10 picks
We need 4-5 really good prospects
With our extra 3 and 4 I’d be wheeling and dealing to find a way

Farley might go a bit higher than some think, just depends on the medical reports. Also a chance he could drop out of the first which would tell me that doctors are really flagging his back.

it'll be interesting to see what we'd do "IF" both surtain and horn are off the board @10.
i'd think nwestern ot rashawn slater would be the pick.
maybe micah parsons,lb-penn st.

if they were to trade down...i want christian barmore,dt-bama...or collins,lb-tulsa.
caleb farley would be enticing also.

I guarantee it’s one of the 3, unless Pitts falls (I don’t think we’d look forward to handing the Giants or Philly Kyle Pitts).
If the question was Surtain or Horn at 10 vs Farely at 44.....well, to me its Farely all day.

He is not going 10 though...and probably not 44 either. Somewhere in between

Am I crazy for hoping we take a CB at 10 and another in round 2 so that between Diggs and 2 rookies we can finally for once in like a decade just be solid at the position and not scrambling for an injury replacement by week 7

I know double dipping is questionable but man I'm tired of having like one kinda decent CB and then nothing else to write home about. Diggs and Surtain could both be CB1s, add in a CB2 type of talent and all these safeties we got in FA... tell me when we last looked half that good on the backend.

The only way I take Farley is if we trade down out of 19 and end up with another 2nd round pick. I’d take Farley with the higher of our 2nd round picks if he’s still there. The back deal is just to big of a red flag. You only have players for 4 years (or 5 if a 1st) and you can’t afford to have a player spend 1/2 that time injured. Look at LVE - 1 year of productivity so far.

I'd take Surtain. They will take Horn. Farley is too big a risk with his back at 10.

I wish there was a stud DT in this area. I'd love to end up with a big time DT prospect then come back with Stokes or Campbell in Rd 2 at CB.

Sadly, the DT depth isn’t the best this year. I see a few future starters (Barmore, McNeil) and some solid depth pieces

Sadly Farley has some injury concerns so he is probably not a viable pick at #10 (if Dallas trades back to late teens he becomes a more viable option). Surtain worries me just being from Alabama as CB's from Alabama have not had a lot of Pro Bowlers in the NFL and can be overrated (Diggs did well in his time last season but did not display Pro Bowl play yet). Therefore, Dallas should give a serious look at Horn as he could be what the Dallas secondary needs to improve.

Surtain, he's the most diverse of the group. Unless we play nothing but man, I wouldn't draft Horn.
Farley? Maybe in the 2nd round.
