I don't even like Fields. He would be the last of the quarterbacks that I would personally take. But if we draft the quarterback, we can get a first round pick plus more in a year or two. Instead, we accepted a third.

We wanted Surtain. When we didn't get him, we traded down. Simple.

He was either going to the Eagles or the Giants as we were’nt going to take him. Instead we get a 3rd pick for moving down 2 spots.

Considering that the Giants weren't going WR, Smith was probably going to Philly anyway. Glad we at least got an extra third out of an obvious choice that Philly would make. Now we have to trade down again or go defence.

Just going to throw this out there: by picking up #84, we are now in a position to package #44 and a third rounder to move up to potentially get Moehrig if he falls into the bottom part of the first round. Or Collins - or Farley.

44+75 can get us to around 27-28.
