Bit of a surprise pick here for me.

The talent definitely warrants the pick but does come with some off the field history.

- 6'1, 4.34 40 at pro day (so likely 4.4 athlete)
- 4 INT in SEC tied for league leader
- 0 catches allowed against Alabama

Not the guy I would've taken, but if the FO did their homework on he's a legit top 50 talent. Heard some say 1st round caliber talent.

I like it. Wanted Barmore hope we go interior line next or Cisco at safety

The first 2 picks ain’t choir boys for sure. This kid could be the best CB in the draft. He has that kind of upside and talent. We had to have a CB because Anthony Brown is not the one...

I would've prolly gone Melifonwu there but I think Joseph has more natural talent. Dude just needs to keep his nose clean and I think he can be a solid start for us.

This isn't the Jason Garrett era any longer, where it did a poor job coaching these type of character risks players. Jimmy was excellent getting production out of this so called problem child's. Quinn has dealt with these type of players before, let's hope he can get them to play on a high level. His play on the field, is 1st rd worthy, he reminds me of Marcus Peters.

They must think there was a need at cb, I was eying Asante Samuel jr, so this guy Is bigger and faster and pair him with Diggs with Lewis in the slot....Idk whatever a db

Small play sample, but good production VS good competition. Has the preq skills and traits to be a good starting CB. It comes down to maturity with him. Kind of a boom or bust
