Not sure, but that thought did come to mind. His length and speed would be good back there. But we also know Quinn has had some success with some tall corners.

It seems like every year the FO makes a bone headed pick in the first three rounds. If they wanted a big corner, Melifonwu was sitting right there. He was projected by most to be gone by 99. The other guy was projected to go late, if at all. He's 2 inches taller & 20 pounds lighter than 'fonwu. These kinds of picks are why Cowboys Nation hasn't sniffed the SB in over a quarter century. I feel for young fans who have never experienced a champion.

Zeke might break him in half when he runs over him in practice. I worry about this guy health just in practice alone.

Doubt it. It’s obvious they’re drafting for traits there and they’re trying to find another Richard Sherman.

Maybe this is why Atlanta's defense was so bad. I thought a few teams did really well tonight. Dallas was not one of them. Parsons and Joseph will make the team. Osa is not an upgrade at DT. They got no help on the OL. I would ask who is the best of what's left, but after tonight I don't think it matters. The Cowboys have their own ideas. This draft is looking like the Jerry Draft shows of the past.

Sure, as long as there's no stiff breeze in the stadium that would blow him into the gatorade table.

Man, this sight is bumming me out. I thought we were doing well until the Wright pick.
Parsons: Super freak athlete who has only played LB for two years-mega upside.

Joseph: As talented as any CB in this draft. Just needs coached up.

Osa: Quality player- First Team All Big 12. Dominated most opponents Senior Bowl week. At 6-2, 285, just needs 10 more pounds to play DT3.

Golston: Very quick at 6-4, 270. Also First Team & showed up big time during Senior Bowl week.

Wright: Wasted freaking pick. Morons could have had Melifonwu.
Grade: B.

I dont think you read what the thread title said. He is implying he will be a FS not a CB

You don’t draft projects rated past 200 overall in the 3rd. Horrible pick
You know what, Quinn did all the work on him and he obviously wanted him at 99. After watching some video on Wright, I'll say this, at least he can make plays on the ball and catch it which something that Awusie never did.
