Hopefully LVE plays this season like he did during his rookie season ..

If not ...

It's the 10 hour version .. it could be a long season ... :D

I will forever not be in favor of signing a guy that had their best season in their rookie season.

We have no idea if he's any better because we can't see him fully healthy, but in the games he has played he doesn't look at all better.

All we have to go on is that rookie season, so he needs to show that season was not a flash in the pan and he's better now. If he doesn't do that then we need to cut ties.

He reminds me of running backs who tend to have huge rookie seasons when they don't have to over think and can just play and react based on instincts.

Then after their rookie season, they start getting coached to over think everything and they do that much slower than their instinctual reactions causing them to lose what made them their best.

Then you add in injuries and they become just another guy on the field collecting a check.

On a mission to get paid? I bet he is. No thanks

i said this earlier in the year that I fully expect LVE to suddenly be healthy this year and to play great

this is only to get paid

idiot Jerry will of course sign him to a big deal to “show his loyalty “ to players and stupid fans on CZ will tell us it’s a great deal only to cry next 3 years while he is on the sideline for “a neck stinger”

It seems that he has developed a sense of urgency, in the weight room, the film room, and on the practice field. If he can remain healthy he could have a big season.

This positive post will self-destruct in 5 seconds

I would like to believe that LVE is someone driven by an internal desire to excel - and nothing really suggests he isn't. I also believe being told that "... We are not picking up your 5th year option" is an enormous incentive .

Kudos to the FO for getting this contract right... So far.

Great news. This is what competition does. Looks like we finally have a REAL DC in here.

Working on tackling? That is a little disheartening. Reminds of Dez working on his route running after 7 years.

Good point.
