Steal of the draft!

I like Biadasz and think he’s gonna be a solid center at the least
But it’s way too few games played to be calling him a draft steal yet

A self proclaimed 12% body fat, High school all pro center? Impressive!! The good old days eh?

Im surprised you cant see that talent in Biadasz and how good he is. Obviously that vast experience doesnt do much good if you cant tell a great center when you see one.

I made a thread point blank talking about good Biadasz looks. Asked you to watch the film. You responded back that " I have watched the film and I dont see what you see". And you even backed that analysis up with further evidence that the Cowboys were obviously giving Williams reps because they have doubts about Biadasz.

So dont tell me you didnt say that Biadasz doesnt look like a good center. You intimated it completely and gave evidence to support your claim.

But I always love when a self proclaimed expert like you disagrees with something I see as completely obvious. Even better, is when a guy like you puts his foot in his mouth and a article comes out almost instantaneously backing up my stance. Feel free to start trying to discredit this one. Hilarious!! This article literally came out 30 minutes last night after you made your claim about the Biadasz. And there is no doubt in my mind you have seen this article already.

Im certainly going to enjoy rehashing this subject all year long. Enjoy!!!

Under 25 breakout player in the NFL for 2021!!!! Too funny...............:lmao::lmao:

A great Center? Hmm, time will tell. Certainly wasn't last year when Joe Looney graded higher as a Center.

Yes, Biadasz will be a great center. Obviously you dont think so based on your film study and research. IN fact you seem to think the underwhelming Williams would be the better center.

LOL...........looney graded higher? You mean than a rookie with no TC or preseason coming off injury? And you were an all pro 12% body fat high school center? And this is how you evaluate?

Great part about all this is time reveals all. Seems like ESPN agrees with me. You would think I paid them to include Biadasz in the top 25 breakout players of 2021.

Keep yapping. That's all you do. Time keeps proving you wrong anyhow. I've noticed you're suddenly all hardcore pro-Dak. I remember not too long ago you weren't so sure or supportive of him. Nice to see you jump on the bandwagon and pull out the pompoms, tutu and pink jersey.

Not too long ago I didnt like Dak? ahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

I am the original Dak fan. Nice try. When you were having a turd over Romo, I was predicting Romo would never start another game for Dallas and nailed it.

Some are already talking about him not being one of the best five offensive linemen on the team. Connor Williams has been taking some center snaps. If the Cowboys feel like a left guard-center tandem of McGovern-Williams is better than Williams-Biadasz then that's the way they will go.

If Biadasz is everything that we hope he is then he will demonstrate that on the field over the next three weeks. However, lets keep in mind that Biadasz became the starting center last season due to injury. First, Fredericks retired before the season even began and then Looney went down. Biadasz didn't earn the starting job, he was simply the next man up. This preseason he will have a chance to earn a starting job.

I've heard a few good things about Biadasz....from team sources and team run media. However, I don't recall anyone from an outside source single him out for the quality of his play. He is ranked between the 20th and 24th best center in the league right now among those that rank player positions. Of course, with Martin and Collins to his right and Tyron to his left, all healthy now, he's got some great advantages few centers in this league share.

Biadasz absolutely should show marked improvement from last season transitioning from a rookie to a 2nd year player. If he doesn't than that is on him.
We have 3 legit WRS. We could have some other wr play like Jerry Rice all camp and in pre season and he isn't taking playing time from the top 3. So saying a guy didn't EARN a starting job doesn't mean much.

Biadasz could very well be the steal of the draft from last year. To get this guy in the 4th round is incredible. I know he isnt getting a lot of hype like some of these other kids, but I believe from watching him that this guy is going to be one of the better centers in the NFL in the coming years and he is the new anchor of the Oline. I anticipate seeing those big holes up the middle that Zeke enjoyed when Fredbeard was in charge.
He doesn't run fast enough to create big holes up the middle. He struggles to get to the second level at times. JMO.

In his rookie season Jerry Rice played like Jerry Rice and started 4 games.

What I was trying to say is that the Cowboys want to start the five best offensive linemen they have. If Biadasz isn't one of those guys, and maybe he is, but if he is not, they will replace him with someone that may have to learn the position but can block better and help the line better.

This was the same reason Larry Allen was the starting RT his rookie season. They had quality starting right guards although Allen would have been better. However, they realized that Allen was one of their five best so they made him a RT and kept their two other guards starting. Otherwise one of the guards would be on the bench while Larry started at guard but a far less talented player started at tackle.

Jerry Rice was a 1st rd pick for the 49ers. He was playing in his rookie year regardless of what he did in camp or in the pre season. He also struggled with drops big time that year. Im from norcal and remember there was a lot of talk about it. So Jerry Rice was gonna get the opportunity to prove his worth NO MATTER WHAT.

That was my point. A 5th rd WR isnt gonna get the opportunity to prove he is one of the best WRs, and you cant prove you are a top player in CAMP or in pre season. That only happens with playing time and my point was that in some situations, no matter what you do in practice, you arent supplanting a starter... until you somehow get that chance, and that opportunity almost always comes via injury for a late rd draft pick.

Yeah and he could have been a Cowboy who were going to draft him. When he dropped after 15 they thought he was going to be there and then the Niners traded up to take him right front of us. The only reason why the Niners picked him was because Walsh saw him on the local news in his hotel room when they were playing the Saints one weekend. He was terrible his first year as he had so many drops in preseason and games that the press wanted Walsh’s head for a wasted pick. As we know the rest is history.

He was simply amazing. You dont see the crazy catches like OBJ, you dont see the massive size like Megatron, He isnt blazing fast like T. Hill, but Jerry rice is EASILY the best WR to ever play the game. He was Michael Jordan in the NFL. His work ethic, his off season training was legendary, and his desire to win and be the best is a RARE combo in todays game.

I hated the niners, but I respect the hell out of Rice.

Same. Agree with you. The best Wr to play the game. His work ethic came from his father who was a brick layer and brought Jerry along with him to work.If he dropped a brick it would back up their progress.

So did you bother watching Biadasz and Williams play center last night? Im just curious your thoughts because you played the position at such a high level in highschool. :muttley:

First off, you arent watching close enough. Williams does NOT look good at center. Go watch the tape. All they are doing is getting him some reps incase they need a backup. I will even go as far as to say that Biadasz is the better player than Williams. I am very confident about that straight up.

And secondly.......................Williams has NOT BY ANY STRETCH manhandled Donald. That is laughable. All you can really say is that he has held his own.
I like Biadasz, but I'm starting to see something unexpectedly special coming from Connor Williams suddenly playing Center. Connor is quicker, stronger, bigger and is showing he can actually play the position pretty good. Connor also has manhandled the NFL's Defensive Player Of The Year (Aaron Donald) pretty badly recently, so I'm keeping my eyes both on Biadasz and Connor Williams for the starting Center position.

Aaron Donald did have one of his worst games statistically against Rookie Connor Williams.

CW is a better matchup against AD than many OGs because CW has elite quickness.

CW has more issues bigger but far less talented DLinemen because his best skill (elite quickness) is not really important against those players.
