Receding hair or going bald. Either way it sucks

...Yep guys, cant have the Barbarino look forever, right? The last few years have take a toll on the crown of my head. Mom and Dad aren't bald. Youngest brother lost most of his hair. Middle brother still has all of his.

We're all in late 40's pushing 50 zone..... I keep thinking maybe its stress or vitamin deficiency related. Tried several things already, shampoos, herbs, oils..etc. I'm losing my Travolta look.......

This morning I poured raw onion juice on my head. My cat changed direction and took off outside, getting whiff of my new cologne. Anyhow, feel free to comment. Or better yet a solution .....

Same. I can shave it in the same time it took to shampoo previously, and honestly it's easier to care for this way.

It took me awhile to do it as well. It was hard, but after I did, I was really happy about it.

You have to have the right head shape for it. Most people don't, and if you have ears that stand out...just don't.

Same here, and it saves you the haircut money. I used to get called Conan the Barbarian when I had long hair, now it's usually Stone Cold Steve Austin...which is better than Poindexter.

Hey, at least you made it to your 40s. I started losing my hair when I was about 25. Unfortunately, I don't think any of those products or home remedies do a damn thing. Like others have said, just shave off what's left. You'll freak yourself out the first few times you look in the mirror but you get used to it. Plus side is you don't spend a dime on haircuts and shampoo / conditioner lasts a lot longer. If you do go the shaved head route, beware of the sun. Your bald head will burn easily.
