I am a 27 year old long time suffering Cowboys fan in West Michigan, north of Muskegon, near Lake Michigan.
I was born in the Midwest but raised in Texas and went to college in Texas and only relocated to Michigan in 2019 because I met a girl online up here and decided to try it out with her and it worked. Also I like cool weather and not Texas heat even though I was used to it.
Also I don't care about any of the NFC North teams, though I have a soft spot for the Bears because I HATE HATE HATE the Green Bay ***** Packers especially their evil QB.
Well, Amanda and I will hopefully get married next year.

Go Cowboys Go!!!

MCF, you moved just in time to miss the worst winter event in Central Texas history and had to get to Michigan to escape it.

You really should be a Lions fan because from what I understand here, they and the Browns fans deserve the unrequited love but Cowboys fans don't.

Welcome to the Zone, and congrats on that relationship with Amanda working out because you took a leap of faith on that and it seems to be paying off.

I root for the Lions twice a year (both GB games) and sometimes a third time when they play an NFC East division rival.

I don't care about Detroit or Detroit teams since Detroit is several hours from me. West Michigan is a completely different culture from Detroit metro area. Culture is much more like say Iowa around here as opposed to Detroit or Cleveland or Chicago.

Yes, I happened to be visiting my best friend in Fort Worth with my girlfriend during the winter storm/power outage... it was bad, power was out 3 days. Awful. Wished we didn't go at that time in mid February.

Yes, Amanda is amazing and Michigan women are very beautiful and warm and less uptight and snobby, at least compared to women from Texas in my experience. Relocating for a girl is definitely a leap of faith, lol. But I always wanted to move to a northerly state anyway because I prefer shorter summers, actual fall, fall foliage from late Sep-mid November, and snow on the ground on Christmas instead of the A/C running, raining and isolated tornadoes like Christmas in Texas.

Welcome @MichiganCowboyFan! Happy to have you with us.

Preach on about AR. I want him to stop popping up on my TV along with that egg head Peyton Manning. I'd be happy to watch Tom Brady commercials if he'd politely stop playing football.

Good luck with your upcoming wedding.

I don't know if and when we're actually getting married. She wants to have a career first and she keeps pushing it back. She's 30 and I'm 27 fyi. I'd like to marry her sooner than later, but she is also focusing on her other stuff like her IT certifications (she already has her bachelor's, but isn't making a whole lot in her current role), getting lasik, and her entrepreneurship as a cannabis grower. Personally I'm not a fan of cannabis but it's one of her main passions in life. It's fully legalized in Michigan.

My best friend in Fort Worth is happily married, I was best man, and his wife is on her 2nd pregnancy, this time with a boy, who's going to be named junior after my best friend.

Already know the rules... no politics, no religion, minimal covid talk, and stuff like hurricane season talk and other news stays on the off-topic zone. Edgelord threads stay in the overtime zone.
Did you miss the rule about once granted your privileges, you must Like all of my posts?

so um yeah... I am indeed in a relationship with a 5'8" 125, attractive, brunette version of Randy Gregory... she does pot 24/7 and I don't. It doesn't bother me though, I think it bothers her more that I don't do it than it bothers me that she does.

Holy marriage made in heaven young man, I don't blame you for wanting to marry her but for my own reasons. A woman that knows how to fix a computer and grows good weed is only surpassed by a nympho gymnast who's Daddy owns a chain of liquor stores. If I knew both, I'd move to Utah and start a harem.

Your best friend is named junior and they're naming the boy after him? Just junior or junior junior or maybe junior jr., call him junior j r? I think junior III is cool for the second junior's son unless it's a girl and then juneyeur works, has an exotic ring to it, don't you think?

Ha-ha.

I'm wondering when the privileges get granted... is it time (24 hours?) or number of posts (50? 100??)
It's a secret, only Reality knows and he never shares his secrets. One day, Shazam!!, he actually does a really good Gomer Pyle, you're fully vested as a Member In Good Standing and able to get into trouble like the rest of us.

Nah, my best friend is named Nick (Nicholas) and baby boy currently in his wife's tummy is being given all 3 of his names, with the suffix of Jr.

she doesn't know how to fix a computer, but she's good with mcguyvering things. she grows quality weed for sure but i don't partake. she is a bit of a nympho which is very good. She has lovely girl-washboard abs and looks mighty fine in a bikini. I am very proud when I walk around a beach or theme park with her next to me. There is a lot to like about her. Life could be a lot worse.

:welcome:young man. I was just about to ask if you were single. To some in here, I'm known as the coquette instead of daboyz. ;):p

I think she's an amazing, magnificent girl. I want to be with her, forever. She's maybe not perfect, but she's the one I truly love and care about, and that's what matters. You be the judge...

You have done very well but I would have a talk with Amanda about wearing her tank tops backwards like in that last photo.
