I posted a thread about how bad our backups were in preseason. I said I was not impressed and was practically crucified. Well here we are, missing OL and DE and whoever else for whatever reason after the first week. We're about to find out if the next man can stand up and man up. Injuries happen, part of the game. Tyron Smith will be missing time in the near future, he seems to get hurt a lot. This is why we need reliable backups that can play hard and compete.

I was very impressed with our starters in week 1, they showed they came to play football. I just hope some of that spirit rubbed off on the 2nd teamers this week.
