I don't understand why things that are crystal clear to fans are such a mystery to the powers that be.

So very true.
I do not have some guaranteed "quality backup linemen list" in order to offer up replacement options over these existing Cowboy OL reserves.
But just based off my watching last year's performances and pre season I hoped for different guys to have been brought in this year to replace what is left over in Knight and Steele and what was brought in in Nyseke.

I thought all 3 played very poorly last year and this preseason. And I know...

Develop them and try to squeeze the most out of whatever little positive traits they may have already shown, however inconsistently.

I get the whole not every draft pick can be a high o linemen choice too.

But my criticism has been and will remain the offensive tackle position at the starter and backup level is and has been a primary concern.

Quarterbacking, coaching and even defense all look extremely different when a team's offensive tackles suck.

Imo, catastrophic dysfunction awaits to all these areas if this so called bad luck at the offensive tackle position continues.

But I guess the hope and fingers crossed strategy is all that's left at this point.

No doctor would clear him to play a few days after he was rushed to the hospital for an illness associated with heat.

My guess is that he will retire or go on IR with no designation to return.

You have no idea what happened. I also highly doubt you know what its like to be a 6'6 300 pound athlete in the NFL.

You've got to be kidding me. How the hell does a professional get a heat stroke and miss a game 4 days later? That's why you stay hydrated and pay attention to your body. Unless he has some type of underlying medical condition this is ridiculous.
