Pollard had 140 yards on 16 touches. Zeke had 97 yards on 18 touches. Both had a touchdown.

Clearly Zeke was better.

Change what?

Why would anyone care when and how he gets his yards? This change of pace nonsense has to stop.

Pollard is a legitimate RB weapon. Obviously you call plays to his strength. He bounces it outside because he can.

Pollard isnt successful because of Zeke. That is nonsense. Pollard can hit it up inside or out, whatever the play requires. Zeke on the other hand is typically limited to inside so that is what he does.

We saw a few plays where Zeke tried to go outside and it wasnt pretty. Thats not his strength.

Pollard got 3rd and 1 carries, goal line, he did it all.
No one cares how?

Really you aren't a coach.

The only logical takeaway from the run game yesterday is to keep doing what they did...I dont care about a featured back I care about a run game...why would anyone feel the need to change that....ITS WORKING...

You make too much sense. Apparently it has to work for a specific player. I don't care if they put a girl back there if they are giving me 8 yards a carry.

18 touches for Zeke, 16 for Pollard.
You’re right. My mistake.

Same point applies though. The shared workload worked well, and if they are going to share the load in this way it really doesn’t matter much who is listed as the starter.

They compliment each other perfectly. Can’t wait until this offense is clicking on all cylinders. Zeke’s leadership and blocking ability gives him immeasurable value and he is our battering ram, Pollard is perfect home run hitting quick twitch explosive one.

Pollard should have better stats per carry/reception snaps because of the situations he comes in on, IMO its a lot like Randle/Dunbar vs Murray in 2014 (before Randle went downhill). Pollard is very good, we're lucky to have him but and (ignoring the contract) Zeke is as good feature back that is extremely well rounded. I would expect him to finish season with 1,500+ yards and that's probably double what Pollard's output will (and should) be.

80% of Pollard's runs are offset runs to the right side of the line, those are situational plays by design to take advantage of defenses geared for Zeke's presence.

Pollard definitely looks more explosive. Zeke seems to have no burst. He doesn't explode through the hole, it's like the synchro is bad for his second gear...
