Why would you call a run with 9 in the box

Sometimes you have to run knowing you won't get much to set up PA. If you pass everytime they have 8 or 9 in the box it makes it easier for the D

This is one of those games where Dak will have to throw 50 times because the Patriots are going to take away the run. That means the defense needs to make a few stops. but the Patriots are taking chunks plays which this defense has been prone to give up.

But play-action doesn't work if you don't threaten to run it and play-action is working well right now.

You have to run it to keep their pass rushers off balance. Even if the run doesn't work, you have to give them something different to keep them honest.
