Armstrong was playing pretty darn well before he left so getting him back is huge

Main thing is adding him back to the rotation. Not having a drop off as a guy goes to the sidelines for a breather because you know the guy coming in for snaps can do the job as well is big for this defense. Keep guys fresh and not lose anything in the process

Only the return of Gallomore and DLaw could make a significant difference, Hill is a JAG and Armstrong needs to do more consistently

I'm excited to see all of these guys play....I'm ready to know what we have in Hill. Whether its as a starter, reserver or cut. Interested to see where this goes.

I don’t see how he can be anywhere close to playing meaningful snaps though. He has missed a ton of time …. Probably gonna take another month to even get his legs under him.

I want to see him too— but the rust factor has to be huge for the kid considering his injury and the fact he is in a new D, and missed the entire offseason

I'm hoping for good things from Joseph. Considering he had no training camp Golston has been pretty impressive getting off blocks, recovering fumbles, and usually being around the ball.

Armstrong looked great. DQ was working with him, Randy Gregory, and Micah on pass rush moves for about 30 minutes while the special teams worked. I was hoping Micah was going to stick with the DL but he went back with the LB's when they split. Didn't see much from Hill but watched Kelvin Joseph quite a bit. He looks so smooth out there. If he's not at 100%, he's pretty darn close. Demarcus Lawrence was out there for a while in street clothes. No boot or any protective anything. He was walking completely normal for what it's worth. Looked to be in a great mood and happy to be there.

I have watched Urban a bunch this year and you are correct. He has been nothing more than a JAG. I don't know what Hill can do, but I'd rather see Gallimore back in the lineup next to Odighizuwa. Hill can spell Osa and Bohanna can rotate with Gallimore.
Yeah I'm ready for Gallimore to get back ASAP. Very encouraged to see what his ceiling is.

Oh I agree. I don't expect anything this soon. He has to at least get on the gameday roster first and I haven't seen anything to suggest he would.

All of these injured players are eager to contribute and are looking to prove themselves. Should be fun to watch.

" .... Coach Mike McCarthy: “I think he’s such an explosive player. …I am looking forward to seeing him work tomorrow in pads. He looks good.”

Ditto here too, Big Mike.

i think some fans want to write Hill off per his personal troubles at Central Fla, and because Marinelli virtually red shirted him his rookie year.

But i liked what i saw from Hill's athleticism and movement skills for one that is 305 lbs.
i guess some players don't recover as quickly as others, per Jarwin and Williams previous ACL injuries and rehab.

if HIll is replacing Urban then they will rush for 250 yards.
Maybe…but we gave up 107 yards rushing on 18 carries to the Pats’ Damien Harris last game. It’s not like we’ve been stopping the run consistently yet anyway.

I thought this was the first 100 yard rusher the Cowboys allowed this year.
