I was not high on him when he was drafted, then injured. I did not see why so many were high on him.
Then he was injured again his second season. but last year I was seeing why people like him.
Now I hope they find a way to keep him.

I would like to see what he can do on KO returns. I am still not sold on Pollard there.
IIRC, PFF had Gallup and Wilson as the top two receivers in that draft.

I'm not sold... he made 2 absolutely huge plays today, but he struggled pretty bad against the Patriots. I don't know if I would trust him as a true #3 option. In this offense he's more like a #4 or #5, and gets very little defensive attention.

He had a 44 yard reception called back in the Pats game due to holding. He caught the biggest catch of the game a 4th down pass that wasn’t easy in that game as well. He did his job.

He’s ok…he seems to be Johnny on the spot this year

I wouldn’t give him a payday or anything but he’s having a good year

I like Wilson as a third receiver after Gallup departs ...he's a clutch one too

If we don't re-sign Gallup, this team will fine with Ced as our WR3. He's much cheaper to keep.

Forget Gallup and sign Ced right now. He's just as good and won't break the bank.

You guys are really gonna critique our 3rd/4th receiver? Its a good problem to have at the moment. Most teams are worried bout their 2. Just be happy.

I hope they can keep him. No clue to what his value is now market wise.

This guy just makes plays--reliable, diverse play-making skills on offense, his yards after catch are very solid, he is tough, and the QB's trust him in crucial situations.
He has more upside and talent than Gallup.

Thoughts?

He is a guy who has always had the skills but has just been buried on the depth chart. He just needs playing time to show what he can do. He’s more valuable than you would think for a 4th WR.

I had a Cedric Wilson thread awhile back . That TD grab was beautiful and that throw to CEE DEE was terrific . He’s earned # 3 spot , Gallup like L Collins will have to be patient . I would not let Cedric Wilson go off to free agency , if that means losing Gallup so be it.
