Yes the Chiefs started out in Dallas..the Dallas Texans, the hunt family moved them to KC when the Cowboys started gaining pop.

The Hunt family is considered the god father family of what you watch now.

Haha it sucks for some of us younger fans because you guys talk about Landry and Jimmy….I was in kindergarten when the Cowboys won in the 90’s….you know what my heyday is? It’s the damn Dexter Coakley and Dat Nguyen years. I have nightmares of Clint Stoerner suiting for us again. I remember the days so well……

Man, that's rough bro. When your heyday is Dexter Coakley getting a pick 6 and Dat Nguyen screaming, "watch the shuttle, watch the shuttle" against the Eagles then it's been a long journey. I salute your commitment to the Boys.

It's been a dark 20 some years. The worst was when Jerry went through this fetish of recycling MLB pitching washouts and tried to make them QBs. Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson and Drew Hensen was going to save the franchise with Dave Campo as coach. Anyone that needs some perspective needs to dust off the VCR tapes of Carter, Hutch and Hensen with Troy Hambrick running the ball. I'm shocked we won 5 games those seasons, we way over performed our talent.

Man I think I can sit here and name all of our quarterbacks from that era.....Anthony Wright, Quincy Carter, Hutchinson, Clint Stoerner, Drew Henson, Vinny T, Bledsoe...I feel like i'm missing someone...I don't even know how we won 5 games looking back.....who was our best player at that time maybe La Roi Glover? Coakley? I guess Woody was around and Roy was good around that time maybe him?

I'm not gonna lie though the Joey Galloway, Rocket Ismail and Antonio Bryant core.....that was fun for as short as it lasted lol.

A few years ago campo and Jerry were in the booth together during a preseason game and Jerry admitted campo didn't have much to work with and no qb

We will travel well there this year as you said people jumping back when Cowboys winning. It will be loud though for Chiefs ..always is.

Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes grew up Cowboys fans. How cool is that?

Sadly, Mahomes will never be a Cowboy. Maybe Dak (and Jerry and the Cowboys) should find out what size of a helmet Mahomes uses and give him a brand new Cowboys helmet as a friendly gift just for growing up a Cowboys fan?

Plus, isn't there history between the Cowboys and Chiefs organizations when both were first getting started in the NFL back in 1960?

The Chiefs (originally the Texans) left and Cowboys eventually filled that vacancy.
