That’s a lot different than asking where Prescott stands all time and he’s not even halfway through his career. Period stop it you’re embarrassing yourself . It’s a stupid question in my opinion. Don’t like it. Too bad

The question that’s being asked is where he ranks all-time amongst “Cowboys” QBs. No one is asking where he ranks amongst the all-time greatest quarterbacks in the NFL history. What’s embarrassing is you don’t seem to understand the question.

I no longer care what you have to say and as far as Gil. He earns his dues

You seem to think it was ridiculous ranking Dak amongst the all-time great Cowboys QBs when he’s only 6 years into his career. Gil Brandt one of the most respected people in football ranked him when he was only 4 years into his career. There isn’t anything wrong with putting a ranking on Dak at this stage in his career. It happens here all the time.

No Craig Morton Love?? He did beat out Roger Staubach for the starting QB after Meredith retired. Started several years before Landry finally handed the reigns over to Roger.

I don't know that I would go so far as to say Morton "beat out" Roger.. Roger wasn't even on the roster until 1969 while Morton had been there since '65. Landry logically gave deference to the guy who had been around playing football for 4 years over the guy who had been flying helicopters (or was it jets?) in the jungle for 4 years.. Roger had a lot of catching up to do and it took him a season and a half to do so.

Let me apologize. I have a friend who might not make it to tomorrow and I’m very upset today. Just leave it at that thank you

Staubach
Aikman
White
Meredith
Romo
Dak

This is it for me currently because Dak’s career is too brief at this point. I expect him to finish 3 or 4 if we get to a SB at some point. If he never gets to an NFC championship, I still expect him to threaten Meredith’s spot.

Unlikely he ever gets higher than 3, but I won’t put him ahead of White unless he wins an NFC title.

Aikman’s 1989 season probably knocks him out of the top 5 or so
Dandy Don Meredith. That’s when I became a fan. Well not really it was actually when we Chose Roger Staubach even though he hasn’t played yet. I was in the military overseas. All you could get was the Cowboys. I have to put Roger Meredith first then Aikman white Romo. I have no idea what Prescott’s gonna fit in until it’s over But if I really had to choose right now and it was his last game. I put him before Danny

Apology accepted. Just wanted to add that Dak has been the starting QB of the Cowboys longer than Danny White. Hope you’re feeling better tomorrow.

Craig Morton never beat out Roger he was the next man up after Don Meredith retired. There was no competition between Craig Morton and Roger in 1969. That was Roger’s rookie year. Tom Landry wasn’t about to start a rookie QB. Craig Morton inherited the job. Morton and Staubach competed in 1971 and Roger beat him out during that season.

No, he was not flying around in helo's. Troll on...did Dak serve?

Can you testify in a court of law that he was never on a helo in his year tour in Viet nam? LOL! No beef .. thanks for the correction.. My memory was foggy as I had not read up on Roger in several years.. This made me go look up his story again.. What a great man..

Well, I served in Vietnam (now I'm telling my age, 1968 during the TET offensive)...supply clerks do not fly, especially Navy personnel. Yes, he was a great man, still is.

He's behind Troy, Roger, and Danny.
No Super Bowl appearances and no NFC Championship appearances.
