I think a good rule of thumb for officials should be call the obvious stuff. That Gallup play was as obvious as it gets.

Don't get me wrong I agree with you that's why I have always advocated for NFL officials to be full-time not part-time lawyers and doctors and other professionals that are more than likely that betting on it ? Go read the book by the NBA official that got caught betting on games? he claims that is widespread among the officials of all sports? Honestly I don't know for sure
