I'm a homer but I was very disappointed in MM, Dak, Zeke, OL and Quinn

Here y'all go with this pocket watching I don't gauge him on what he gets paid.

Dak overall was fine yesterday. You can be overly critical if you want but if the guy puts up 400 passing yards and 2 Touchdowns that should be good enough to win.

Now the Bronco's and Chiefs games? I agree with you 100%.

But its funny his salary gets brought up. He's 40 million but let's pocket watch the other players on this team. Amari Cooper, Lawrence, Collins are WELL OVER 40 million and they haven't a contributed a damn thing these past two weeks. Let's keep the same energy.

He’s the QB. He touches the ball every single play.

He makes double what anyone else does.

Everyone is pocket watching him! Everyone! Including the team! 40 million a year isn’t going unnoticed.

He’s not getting paid to be the 4th round feel good story anymore. How do you not get that?

He’s paid to elevate and overcome adversity. He’s not the guy just along for the ride anymore..

He is!

We’ve lost 3 of 4 games and he has been terrible or average in these games.

*** are some of you super fans even watching.

This is what you expect from a 40 million dollar player?
Lol! OK, I was all Daks fault....feel better...

Yesterday the Cowboys looked like I thought they would at the beginning of the year. The early hot start fooled me into thinking this team might actually be different. But what I saw yesterday looked like a 9-8 team. They looked like the 2020 team with 1 difference - Micah Parsons.

First, the secondary looked below average which is what I thought they would be going into the season. We saw the same loose coverages, blown coverages pass interference penalties and lack of turnovers. No one was even close to an INT yesterday. I know, it happens but they gave up 500 yards total and 366 yards in the air. Add to that the penalty yards and Las Vegas cover about 650 yards total. very 2020-like.

Second. No pass rush other than Parsons. I know, injuries probably contributed to that. I actually believe just Gregory alone might have changed the outcome by forcing some bad throws from Carr.

Then, Dak is playing like the bad Dak of the second half of 2019. He missed some easy throws that made a difference. He also made some great throws to Gallup down the sideline. But he was clearly outplayed by Carr, who kept his composure and found open receivers all day.

Despite Trysten Hill's best performance as a Cowboy, the defense still lacks any kind of pressure from the middle.

The Cowboys offensive line protected better but did not open any significant holes for the running game. The Raiders are one of the worst run defenses in the league.

The tackling by the defense is still really poor.

If this is the real Dallas Cowboys we saw yesterday, I think 9-8 is still a realistic result for the season.

Defense gave up 500 yards, maybe they need to elevate their game too....I get you don't like Dak.....but it's ridiculous to put it on him.....
It’s not on Dak, but he was absolutely a part. Fans that completely absolve Dak of any responsibility are just as ridiculous as those that only blame him. He was a part of every win and a part of every loss the same as Romo before him. The same goes for the officials by the way.

We knew coming into the year the offense would have to carry the defense. They needed to be ahead of the chains and score early to control the game. They did that in the 6 game winning streak. The offense hasn’t done it beginning with the Denver game other than Atlanta. The defense actually played well enough in the Denver game until mid-way through the 3rd quarter when being on the field too much caught up to them.

It’s not all his fault. He’s jus not making plays or playing at a high level.

He’s back to his classic form. Sitting around waiting on someone else to make a play and his accuracy has gone down hill bigtime as of late.

The older I get the more I see the truth of things. Just about everything these days is rigged, I mean,...just look around you. Why in the hell would anyone think the NFL would be any different? Its not. Pretty sure its been "rigged up" for some time now,...difference is nowadays with stupidity levels being as high as they are ;) they can be way more in your face about it because half the people are too stupid to know the difference anyway. Yeah,....Im pissed. A game I have loved watching for almost 50 years now is being destroyed and there isnt a damn thing I can do about it.

That episode involving the Bears a couple weeks back is but the tip of the iceberg. Anyone ever watch the Seattle/Pittsburgh Superbowl? If that thing wasnt flat out rigged NOTHING was.

He did make clutch drives on our last couple possessions in regulation, and we shouldn't even have been in OT in the first place had the DPIs been called as they should have been.

It’s so simple to see these things yet some people somehow just miss what’s right in front of them. It actually amazes me.

Your post is spot on but somehow people miss the obvious.

Exactly, like I said, for those complaining about officiating, this is how the league wants it. If they really thought it was a problem, they could fix it in an instant. They haven't. Why? Cuz there's more money to be made by rigging the games to fit the narrative of the networks. The happier the networks, the fatter the TV Deals get. It's a big club, and we ain't in it.

We can’t sit and wait for the hole to get deeper and deeper before Dak finally wakes up and decides to do something.

The offense stalled and bad 3 and outs all’s game.

Yes.. He came through in the 4th quarter. We needed him long before that.

1 drive doesn’t erase an entire game. We didn’t have a lead the entire game.

They came right out of the gate stinking on offense. Offense was the problem with this team yesterday.

Just like it was a problem in KC.

Teams are running man to man coverage on our guys and Dak is clueless.

Very disappointed in MM, Dak, Zeke, OL and Quinn.....
MM is trying to hard to not be Garrett.....Quinn is trying to hard not to be Quinn.....Dak played well, but missed some easy ones, Zeke should have taken the day off....he's not healthy...OL is decent, but Philbin has been reading the CZ...I haven't gotten too emotionally involved in games for a while, try to take it in stride and stay positive....yesterday was different....I was pissed! Still am.....we should have won that game. I don't complain about the refs much, but they were horrible! Salud!

I remember when Thanksgiving was almost a guaranteed win, Earl Campbell running wild about 40 years ago notwithstanding (or Randy Moss 20 years later).

Recently I've grown accustomed to flops on Turkey Day. For most of the game yesterday it just felt like the some old story. Frankly, I was surprised to see the offense perk up and finally start scoring. But the defense made Hunter Renfrow look like Moss, and when they did make a play a flag usually came out.

So I wasn't really angry. Just thought "same old Cowboys" and stopped here to see how many unoriginal Dak threads would pop up this time.

I agree. I'm not saying he played well. I'm just saying how some atrocious calls and noncalls affected the momentum of the game.

Overcome. We’re trying to win a super bowl and if Dallas executes their plays we win that game.

Overcoming chaotic situations is part of football.

If you guys think we’re going to win a Super Bowl while facing no adversity then your delusional.

They have screwed themselves over in terms of the 1 seed so going on the road and overcoming adversity is going to be the recipe if they want to win anything now.

Refs should never be the story of any game.

this but sadly they are getting more headlines than the players…imagine New Orleans fans would agree as well as some others….
It’s a fatally flawed game now because so many games entire outcome is exactly flipped because of incompetent or unscrupulous officiating…seriously wondering if I can watch another game this season.
